what a nice guy!
Great songs ..lots of memories..❤
I absolutely enjoy listening to "Like a Child". Great song ❤
Ein Hit hat ihr ganzes Leben bestimmt. Für mich ist ihre Erstaufnahme die stärkste im Ausdruck.
Very Interesting. What a lovely lady she is. Should have had far more hits.
love those competition questions !!! That was such fun to listen too..Brilliant !!
What a great hospital Great staff
Thank you for kind words.
Very well done Richard! a great interview, your passion for the BB is amazing and highly inspirational - I can almost see Barbara's beaming (with pride with tears of happiness running as well mind ;-)
Oh!... Those 'Golden Moments'. When you wish the Earth could open up and swallow you, lol 😁. Brilliant selection of classic bloopers. Fun to listen to. I personally can picture being in the studio and knowing what it feels like to be a victim of the gremlins at work! 😁. Again. Great to hear history from 'Radio Brockley's' archives. Thank you for sharing these with us 👍
Capturing 'Golden Moments' yet again. The joy of history being remembered in audio. The centre has brought much rehabilitation and recreation to so many since it was opened.. Including My Wife to whom has had a knee replacement and found the centre to be a 'God Send '. I too have used the pool and gym many times. Thank you to 'Radio Brockley' for remembering and uploading this piece of history.
Absolutely brilliant. I remember fondly those glorious days... In fact, even in these modern times 'Radio Brockley' will remain glorious. Although, my username on here is Fred Bloggs... I'm in fact Steve Cordell... as mentioned by Mike Casey ( 10:52 ). Thank you so much to whom thought of uploading this fine segment of history. Brings back good memories. Wishing ALL at 'Radio Brockley' continued success. By the way too... I think thats Me in that studio engineering! Jesus! I was so young! 😁 lol. Take care folks 👍
I've been sat here with a smile on my face and shivers running down my spine listening to the story of how the station began. Well done to the documentary makers, the contributors and to all the volunteers who make Radio Brockley such a special place. In case you wondered, the voices of former Trustees who kick off the recording belong to (in voice order).. Barry Cobden, David Rauch, Ian Downs, Daniel Gee, Ron Laver, Alan Joyce, Ian Downs (?), Keith Reeve and Mike Solomon. A VERY HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY TO RADIO BROCKLEY!
A wonderful show, Len is one of the gem's of the Theatre/Cinema Organ world. I have shared the show on my Facebook group Northern and Southern Ireland Cinema and Theatre Organs. Len came over to N. Ireland a few years ago to save the day, he played a concert in place of Nigel Ogden. I was on an organ weekend some years ago and like you fortunate to visit and hear len's amazing Wurlitzer. Thank you so much for posting the show. Great stuff :)
Hi Peter, belated thanks for your kind words about the show, and for sharing it. As you say, Len is an absolute gem for his unwavering support for the Theatre Organ world.
