@@velankarshashank Not yet. Other day while I was capturing the updates it was open for a couple of hours. They had just completed the final layer(BC) on the flyover. Other works like lane and shoulder markings, kerb painting and erection of street lights are yet to complete. May be post that, it will be opened for traffic.

Not really bro. Let me explain! There are tough hilly and rocky terrains along this section. So, it is time consuming. Very less flat land availability where they can continuously maintain the same speed. Also, 70% of the alignment is going Greenfield abandoning the old curvaceous highway adding the whole new construction activities along these alignments. As I am physically visiting these sites for capturing the updates, I am able to recognize and analyze the topography and the hardships involved in filling up huge valleys and cutting those rocky mountains. Also, our coastal region experiencing highly active monsoon for about 5 months will also add up for the delay. Work may come to total halt during this period. I am of the opinion that the above factors are causing the delay. Otherwise, I believe the work is progressing at a good speed. Dilip Buildcon's work is exceptional. I am amazed with the quality of work they are doing on the Greenfield alignments. Truly amazing👍 Let's hope it picks up more speed and we have a wonderful 4 lane highway ready to zip😊👍

Noticed several new Greenfield alignments while covering the Karkala Mangalore updates. This highway being straightened at several stretches. Amazing work by DBL👌👍

Haven't been through Charmadi Guruvayankere stretch for sometime. If time permits I will try to cover that section too😊

Seems like Blore Mlore highway work has picked up pace. Have plans to cover that stretch also in the coming days.

Yes it is curvy and would be bit difficult for first time drivers. But, drive with confidence you can do it😊 Advantage of the ghat section is broad 2 lane highway even though it is curvy. So go for it. But always keep in mind to drive carefully and slow in the ghat section as this stretch witness a lot of cargo trucks. Take care😊
