When the trilogy appeared like it could be promising I had always wished that the Knights would have appeared in the second installment of these sequel films with a movie title like “Star Wars: The Knights of Ren”. This happening with their lore explored while also telling the story of Luke’s academy and its collapse. Such a waste that there were all these narrative possibilities still within the scope of it being a Star Wars film series.

Cool!" line reminds me of the scene in The Last Jedi were the grunt has to conspicuously taste the white powder on the ground of Not Hoth so that he can point out to the audience that it's salt and totally not snow. Subtlety apparently isn't in the lexicon of Disney writers anymore. Also I have to LOL at that scene of them posing on top of some random rock pillar in the desert like they're making a cover for an edgey emo boy band.

02:24 of wasted screen time. Some menacing dudes with a cool gang name, that’s all. No explication who they were, what they did, the relation to Kilo. Just nothing. And so it took Kilo 30 seconds to kill the whole bunch with their useless medieval weapons, without any remorse or doubt. 😂 What baffles me to this day, is that people actually got paid to write this shit and several management levels nodded and said “Yes! Great!”. Why don’t i have total idiots as bosses?! So unfair.

It’s amazing how the sequel trilogy ends up depending heavily on expansive sources only to throw away whatever narrative is created from those as well Both Snoke and the Knights Who Say Ren were actually given a lot of hype and build up in the comics but now it’s clear as day no one involved the actual movies even read them

I thought they would be ninjas with lightsabers, instead they are a bunch of Fallout and Mad Max style raiders from wasteland with sticks, none of them even has a gun

Wish we got more of them, would have loved to see an Episode IX without Palpatine where Kylo takes his role as the mad king, training his apprentices, and dealing with internal conflict with Hux (magic vs science). Still cool to see them face off against Kylo in this one though!
