Man, I remember getting hyped for this game, watching trailers, and other things, and then they released this game... Not gonna say it's shit or anything, but it's really boring game and I agree, it's the worst obsidian game ever made for sure.

Reducing travel time is important for efficiency. Currently, pals get the sanity buff from beds even if they can't reach their bed. They just sleep whereever they are when night falls. Unaccessible beds seem optimal atm. There may be a way to cheese the "work in place" system to comepletely bypass the travel system...

I agree with you, the game is very underrated, it deserves more love and popularity.

"Story nor storytelling not exist" That isn't a con. It's just a design decision. Calling it a con assumes that all games should have a story. It can very well be a con for you, which is totally valid. But you have no place telling me or anyone that this is a negative. It's 100% subjective. I would echo that for your whole approach. When doing reviews you have to learn the difference between your personal preferences and the state of a game. GL on future videos! You got a nice broadcasting voice and the video was well organized.

Heya Emperor,first time seeing your video and it had to be about Dragon Nest! Haha As a player who is playing the game for non stop 14 years(the game's whole life that is),in almost all official servers and some privates,not gonna lie,im open for any kind of questions,we can talk for days about the game's pros and cons and what is bad from devs and so,idk if you have a Discord so ppl can ask stuff for the game. All i can say is this: Its worth the try cause,i play RPG games,online and offline,for more than 25 years.Dragon Nest's fluidity of action combat,is still top-1 even at 2024. It might be outdated in lots of things but the gameplay they created for this game,should be TAUGHT in lessons for feature game designers/developers.

Note: I feel like the video is getting viewed differently from what I want it to be, this is not a call-out video for certain private servers, and I never planned it to be in the first place, if I did I would only focus on that and name video differently, this is a ''Is Dragon Nest Worth Playing In 2024?'' video, private servers review is only one part of it, my purpose with this video was giving people information about how Dragon Nests is in 2024, and answer the questions they might have about the game, and answer the obvious question, ''Worth Playing Or Not?'' In fact I had no idea private servers will be full of toxic people, of course I'm not a newbie gamer and I know how communities are, I was waiting to face with couple toxic people, and plan to ignore them and socialize with the healthy players, play with them, I even open my own guild and I was actually gathering quite good amount of people, we had 19 people in the guild and it was quite active, I was thinking create chill and enjoyable environment in the guild, and ask people with this video to join me with the guild and the game, and plan to help new players, gather returned players, and together rise and play end-game contents as well, I was hoping I can play in Origin server for a long time, I never even imagined whole server is going to be this toxic and self righteous, or developer & mods are gonna do nothing about it when people act toxic, racist and insulting against other people, or I will be forced to drop the server because of end-game content being necessary to play with groups and I can't say I can't see myself doing anything with these people, it's quite sad considering how good combat and story is and I still cherish experiences I got with this game back in the day. I don't plan to create more drama out of this, everything is clear already and I dropped the server, even tho I still can't believe these people soo shamelessly trying to act they were right to act toxic, racist, and insulting over basic suggestions and opinions I shared, trying to turn things around me on DN subreddit and in this video's comments, what they don't understand is this is my channel and not their trash community, I won't allow them make any toxic nor nonsense comments here, but anyways hope you guys can watch this video as a ''Is It Worth Playing?'' instead of call-out video, because that's what is, and I hope it helped you to have some opinions and clear your head about the game, sorry for not delivering good news about the game, it was never my intention anyways, I was in search to find myself a main MMO and was hoping I can stick with this one for some time, shame it's in this state, but it is what is.

Quite a similar thing happened to and my friend some time ago, we joined there with the hope of seeing a less toxic community after official games & Project Duck, but we got insults and toxic comments after sharing some opinions we had about the server, they made big deal out of it, tried to make us accept we are wrong and need to change our opinions, bullied us with all comments they made with saying we are wrong, they are right and we need to think like them, like we are not allowed to have opinions, not even my family didn't tried to control me like this nor change my opinions, there is something called ''respecting opinions'' in this damn world, but these people has no idea about what is respect, we tried to not argue too much and tried to enjoy the game, but since we can't do group content and couldn't socialize with those people we dropped the server, sadly Dragon Nest really not worth playing especially for returned players, official servers are P2W heavy with toxic people, private servers are at least less P2W and gives better experience, but thanks to the community and you need to function community to do end-game content it does not work, thanks for sharing this and showing more people how these people are, they are really people who share same weird vision about the server, not tolerate any person with different opinion, and just make people drop the server with bullying them, they really need professional help.

I'm in the DN subreddit and I came from there, it's so weird they are still digging their own grave by trying to act like it's normal or okay to treat someone with toxic, racist, and insulting comments over suggestions, imagine being pathetic enough to act toxic, racist and insulting to someone just because you don't agree with them... And it's weirder they are trying to make you look like wrong and bad one by sharing screenshots of what happened after they pulled that shit over you, opening alt accounts just to comment more nonsense, trying to show you like you are wrong just for blocking toxic people like you told me these people are sick and need help, thanks for the video BTW, it was pretty good and detailed video.

I just started a week ago, and after seeing the suggestions part I was a bit interested as well, I felt like it's a cool feature to have in a private server discord, like giving your suggestions to the developer, but after seeing you got insults, toxic comments even racist comments I took a step back, didn't wanna experience the same thing, and props to you for not answering non of those comments in suggestions part, that was very mature. But I found it really weird none of those toxic or racist comments not removed by moderators or developers, why would anyone let something like that happen and stay there? Developers and moderators are either sleeping or they are part of a toxic community for sure. Then I read things that happened in other chats after people tried to act like nothing wrong with treating simple suggestions in that way, trying to justify their toxic and racist act with the names of ''your suggestions were not fit here'' or ''we don't agree with your suggestions, they can hurt/change how we want to game should be so we acted toxic and racist to you, and you deserved that.'' these, etc. It's soo damn wild that these people think any of the excuses they are giving like ''You played only for a week and shared too many suggestions.'' (which is weird since you told me you played 500+ hours on Europe in your video, and even in Discord, but I guess they don't accept your experience on official servers?) or ''We acted that way because your suggestions could hurt the game vision of ours'' imagine thinking any reason can justify your toxic and racist act, doesn't matter what you shared there (things you shared were pretty harmless btw, like asking mid-size hud? I was going to suggest the same thing, hud either looks too small or too big in my opinion as well, it's wild that the suggestion got hate) it doesn't give them the right to act toxic, insulting, or racist, I had similar experiences in Project Duck, and I was there for hoping they are not toxic like official servers, they were, then I heard origins and from what I can see it's not different either, shame tho, the game is great and deserves better community.

RUclips deleted my comment somehow, but i'll say it again. I agree about those servers, they constructs itself around groups of echo-chamber professionals, whom I feel are psychopaths with a self-righteousness problem. To make it worse, I'm baffled by how the devs of those server allowed that kind of ludicrous behavior to continue, some of them even advocated the community to behave like this. What an insane experience considering how Dragon Nest is such an old and maybe dead MMO. It felt like they get the joy from educating people on how to properly think, despite being completely obsessed with being right in a video game.

Sadly it isn’t just this game, other games’ private servers also experience the same toxicity shit. If you as a private server maintainer can’t control your small community, then there’s no point in running the project anymore as it’ll slowly grow in the wrong direction and become a nasty environment that only attracts the wrong kind of players. You really dont want that happening, do you.

I didn't play the game for years and found your video while searching how it is in 2024, so thanks for the video, personally I had similar experiences with official servers, especially SEA had a very toxic community until it got closed, and private servers are not soo far of either, I tried project duck, but it has terrible community, even for most basic things they don't like they will gang up on you with sarcastic remarks. And Origins is not different either, it's full of trolls and toxic people, seeing your experience with them made me remember my experiences and I felt sad, too bad this amazing game has a terrible community like this and official servers are killed by how P2W heavy they are along with the toxic community as well.

Damn... Can't believe you had to explain them getting triggered and acting toxic as f*ck over basic suggestions are wrong and you done nothing wrong... And I agree with you about the game having a great story and combat, but the community in official and private servers being this toxic along with being P2W in official servers is the reason why this game is not popular and slowly dying, quite sad for great MMO like this.

Based on the footage you have shown it looks like you have no idea how to do the settings properly to enjoy the game. Yes the default settings are really bad but they can be easily changed following a quick 15 min Guide. You complaining in the comments about positioning of E and Q gives me the 20 year old vibe of static keybinds way more then the combat mechanics ever could.
