Hey man, love the leaf box set up. I’m pretty dumb but can you give me all of the sort of step-by-step you built that trailer. Do I get plywood and secure them with 2x4s and then how would I secure that to the trailer itself?
Where did you purchase the suspension seat & what is the model # ?
How’s the Billy goat been holding up for you? Any cons with the machine?
it has been great this season i personally think it is worth the investment and allows you the ability to pick up entire properties that are large 1 acre plus of leaves in on trip.
How do u empty the trailer
I use a pallet that is set up in the front and has a chain attached that gets pulled to empty it.

Do you just pull the chain/pallet by hand or how do you empty it?
the chain gets attached to a machine or a pole designed to pull against at the dump and makes it easy to unload.
Can you make a video how you empty it? That’s a nice set up! I got the same trailer, and how much did this job took you? Is the vacuum 18hp pretty good?
i will post something that shows how i unload it but it is pretty easy to unload, i hook the chain to either a machine at the local dumping site in town or they have a pole setup that you can anchor to and then drive forward and it pulls the pallet which pushes the leaves out. works great as long as you have strong pallet.

Awesome video I have a tundra as well! Yours has a longer bed which must be good. This setup is unique and it looks simpler to build. I am wishing I had a dump trailer with debree loader. Someday I hope, as I want to get big into leaf cleanups here in upstate NY.
Thanks boss! And the setup was fairly easy I will eventually have a dump trailer as well, they’re great for leaf clean ups and I have a tree division as well and I need one bad.
@@greencare4life I rented my first dump trailer from Home Depot on a tree job hauling the brush/logs to the dump. I had a blast.
Is that the std length hose or longer than 10 ft? A 90 lb garage door spring in place of that chain helps a lot. (Lowes $24 a pr). My dump trailer has a telescoping ram, still trying to figure out how to mount the goat on the front.

I ruined 3 sets of blades and gave up on this POS. It does not hold an angle and is fundamentally flawed from doing so if you think about it.
I used it for a while and it wasn’t too bad. I have an all American sharpener now that I like a lot.
What year and model Gravely is that?
It is a gravely ZT HD 48 with a commercial motor fx730v
So basically you incorrectly sharpen the blades until you find the perfect 30-35 degree angle to correctly sharpen them?
its a decent product, i now use an all american sharpener which i prefer.

Well, it definitely didn’t work as good as it did on their commercial. The concrete they poured oil on must have been sealed or something. I wouldn’t say the performance is any better than oil dry or kitty litter. Thank you for the honest video!
Yeah my concrete is definitely no sealed so it soaked in but it seems like a decent product and doesn’t create dust like cat litter. Lots of options for sure.

Nice video, drive a screw or nail into the 2x4 on the side and use that to balance.

That is a sample so I think it was 1lb but they come in 2 and 5lb bags.
Well, how is the sear? worth the cost?
So far it is great! No complaints on the comfortability, the only thing that’s not my favorite is where the seat adjuster is on the left, I had to remove it because it rubbed up against my fuel tank line coupler where it met the tank and broke it.

You should do the PB-770 vs the PB-9010… I have the 770 and just bought the 9010, but I’d imagine a lot of people have had the 770 for years and are debating on if they should upgrade. I have a ton of trees and acorns on a 3/4 acre lot and I’m looking to hopefully save some time and energy by going with the 9010
I just picked up a 9010 this morning. Man that blower is extremely powerful! You can’t go wrong

I think I understand why you used red loctite on the smaller bolt, but why not just slightly drill the hole a little larger to accommodate the proper bolt? Just curious. Nice video man.
The reason I actually used the smaller bolt with the new piece is because the threads matched up, the original bolts were larger and I would have to drill out the new piece and tap it which I do not have any taps. I will get a set in the future for sure!

What was the liquid you used on the deck before drilling the holes ?
It is a 3in1 multi purpose oil from Home Depot. It worked well for sure!

I didn’t notice any sagging but obviously harder to lift the deck for sure!!

Well I just had the 8010 and used it for some time and sold it and switched over to the 9010 and it’s a tremendous upgrade. You can’t go wrong with the 9010

Bro I just put this together and my door is a real pain in the ass to get on and off.....any suggestions?
It is a little difficult for sure, at a fraction of a larger bagger its great for sure. Will probably get a larger bagger as well. The only thing I have found that helps is I put the bottom piece in the slot with the door leaned out just enough that I can line up the sides inside the frame and then I push it in just make sure the latch is lifted out of the way or you will have to redo to get the latch out of the way.
And I thought I had alot of leaves.

Just ordered my PB-9010T. Looking forward to seeing how much of a step up it is compared to my PB-770T

That's insane that it's jumped that much in performance. I remember using Redmax 8500s compared to my 770T and it wasn't enough to jump to those at the time. I can't wait until mine gets to me. UPDATE: Got my 9010 and its a freaking monster!!! I was blown away by how big the tube is and the power is staggering! I blew a 2 year old pile of wet packed leaves like it was nothing! My only complaint is that it guzzles gas big time but that's expected from an 80 cc engine.
@@jodyjo_gd3 I have rock landscaping. With leaves and aigcorns, this blower won't blow rocks to will it? I have a hand held one but not powerful enough.
@@smallnuts2 Depends on the size of the rocks, but yes, it will blow rocks for sure. I have some beds that I’ve filled with 1/2-3/4 inch stone and this blower will move those stones for sure, even at lower speeds. That said, you can throttle it down and control based on how far away from the bed you hold the blower and the angle you hold it at. This blower is AWESOME. Seriously powerful. I’ve got the H model with the left hand hip throttle (which I really like). Haven’t tried other blowers, but I wouldn’t waste time with anything else unless your needs are for lower power.
Definitely need to make the switch from Ebz 8550s next year.. great video.

Yeah it definitely helped, I had already blown all the leaves into these piles before I started using the mower to help push.
