Thats's because at small concerts there is less room and more echo, less back ground noise, and less people screaming and making noise (unless it's one of those stupid crowds that talk while the Smashing Pumpkins are playing. I want to slap them and say "Hey, this is Smashing Pumpkins, have some respect".).

u jokin?? imo gish is on par with melon collie, if not better. Zeitgeist is ok, but comes nowhere near any of their previous work.all their b-sides are way better too

i was never an SP fan, but even I have to admit Zeitgeist was a better album than people gave it credit for being. This is my favorite cut off the album.

macnatty, true words....this album is great....SP fans just seemed to assume that they'll would never get back together again, and no matter the great sound that they are producing, some will just insist that it isn't the same as previous albums...well, I should hope not!!! this is a new album after all, and they have grown so much as a band.

I couldn't agree with you more. They were so in the spotlight for Machina so everyone ate that garbage up with a spoon, but has ANYONE heard machina 2? SO Much better. Zeitgeist is a great album and in a few years SP fans will regret not getting behind it more.

Is it just me or have Billy's vocals gotten a hell of a lot better of late. I've always liked the band, but he seems to have improved his singing a lot in the most recent live shows I've seen.

nope i think its the other way round... i think the whole song sound different but much better with her voice. i was quite badly surprised when i heard the original album version...

MACHINA II / the friends and enemies of modern music was better then Adore. Come on Glass, Cash Car Star, Go, Speed Kills, Satur9, Lucky 13, Vanity, Soul Power. MACHINA II was one of the best SP albums ever made, its to bad Billy did not put it out with a major label.

Billys vocals are great here. awesome song and an awesome album. anyone who doesnt think this is a good pumpkins album, and a good album in general, simply doesnt know good music. its their best stuff since melloncollie in my opinion. Pumpkins rock!

this cd was well worth the 14.99 i paid for it.

any musical person can tell bleeding the orchid is a passe ninties song, that the pumpkins finally did, since its not passe anymore, duh, seitgeist mean "spirit of the times"
