The Hawker Demon was a fighter variant of the Hart light bomber. During air defence exercises the RAF's Siskins and Bulldogs were often unable to intercept the new Hart bombers, which were sometimes instructed to restrict their height and speed in order to give the fighters a chance, which prompted the development of a fighter variant of the Hart.

So are these die-cast or kits you have built?
I just bought a second hand Corgi 1/72 Swordfish with floats; but the wings came separated. Nothing looks broken. I am not sure how to attach the wings. I can see the two pivots and the tiny dowel where is all should go but I don’t want to force it. Any tips?

Green with envy! Perhaps the tune should not be “Blue Bonnets” but “Hielan’ Laddie” the Regimental quick march of the Black Watch or their other famous tune, “Wha Saw the Forty Second”
