Kotobukiya's kit is very detailed, but it's poorly assembled. The interior details are excellent, but I'm quite disappointed that it requires glue. Still, when I finish it, I feel so proud and cool.

Could you please get that Fist of the North Star wild liger model kit that's coming out soon and do a review on it? Would love to see that!

I enjoy the details/purposes you mentioned for the paints and washes which helps give it a little story and the LED makes the helmet pop out more to draw some attention to it✨ Very cool to see difference and improvements from your first one (I feel like theres always a time we just paint something with alot of colors xD) I might even strip paint off my winter dragon model someday to repaint it

I have a repackaged version and didn’t really have any issues with balance or drooping. I do have a stand for it but the weapons on the arms are still solid and in place from where I first posed them, about 6 or 7 months ago.

nice break from the ongoing Zoid lineup of videos! The armor looks so cool with the interesting shapes it use + that unique looking gun the 'pulling trigger' of building kits in the log is exactly how I feel whenever I just have to build something XD

I've been wanting to camo paint my supernova fury for a while now but have been stuck on exactly how to go about masking it, didn't know about masking paper so my life just go a whole lot easier XD

loving those lil edits you have here and there which gives a nice change of pace with some fun and relaxing moments the constraint and consideration you state here is spot on to what im learning about and another thing I heard about is that instead of topcoating the clear pla to disperse the light, you can probably sand to give same effect and dispersal (although not sure about this) + love how you can tap near its core to turn those LEDs on 😆

Love your work! Question.. which sms gold paint would you use to achieve the closest possible match to the limited gold version? I’m getting the great saber marking plus soon & want to paint it to be as close to the limited gold version as possible (& this will be my first time painting a Zoid)

is the BT version perfectly identical to the Kotobukiya one? Would love to know so I can save some money.

I moved to HK a few years ago from Sydney but just stumbled onto zoids now. Got into it from new century when it was on Saturday morning cartoons. Building a collection of kits so that when I move back and have space I can build and display them.

Takom really rather than attacking him need to employ David Bryden to fix the numerous accuracy issues. Imagine Dragon accuracy with Takom build and engineering. Mind you the Takom Apache has the worst instructions in history so not everyone is immune. Nice build good to see some Tiger options but little accuracy errors are just lazy these days from Takom as the information is out there. Still nice to see Dragon getting well priced competition!

Thank you! here in Melbourne its hard to come across zoids in city other then going to conventions to snag one (there was a store that held sturm for 300 but is mostly filled with Gundams now compared to last year) most of it goes with critical hit having Konig wolfs ready at the double with some stingers otherwise there can be some hole in wall places that have a good stock (the store I got reddra for 90 from should be having an online store sometime sooner or later they check for the lower price the kit may have which makes it cheaper then the tag) otherwise I just used hobbyco to get my 2 furies and saber 😆

Just ordered one of these guys from ebay for cheap, I’m okay with most of its faults but I just hope it won’t be too difficult for me

ah yes masking up when painting 👀 No worries im getting a respirator soon enough! seeing a whole 360 spin of Bladey is just gorgeous! and nice to see how the LED shines through in the end there which makes up for the beauty shots. also began cell shading the Shieldy so gonna have to do it as I build (some parts just are hard to get out in general)

Does this kit have any particular issues?

Pterodactyl chicken no better way to describe this one! (I had a running joke on one of the pieces that is in torso is a burnt roasted chicken because of pegs and shape XD) but yeah nice lil breakdown and talk about the prices here (I think I got sworder for around 100-120 or so from hobbyco I believe) gonna be eyeing on the next build you hinted

Got big red the other day. Bc im a destiny retiree. Im gonna paint that sucker in the colors of my warlock armor with thr nee solstice. Any advice on painting and making some colors really pop?

Takom kits are excellent, reasonably priced when compared to Dragon which are more expensive, confusing manuals and overcomplicated to build.
