I do think they would fit me a little better if they had laces instead. I want to try cutting the elastic laces and putting shoe strings in them to tie around my foot.

They look great for metal roofing, I always use skateboard shoes they stick way better and the safety inspector told me they weren't acceptable and unsafe lol. They had thick suede that is cut resistant too but that's not approved. These don't seem to be suede I've never cut my shoe before but if it happened canvas probably isn't the best option.
