can i ask what wattage is needed for the gluegun?

I like it! i can see some areas for improvement, id be inclined to make some sort of housing for the drill to cover the electrics and see about replacing the drill trigger with a dial and also maybe a breaker between the power supply and the rest of the build in case of any issues like an emergency stop, got a new printer on the way and got most of the stuff i need for this already so ill try tinkering myself at some point and report back!! going to try making an easier open source filament blender and recycler too.

So you roll the filament on a spool. I have a direct drive ender 3 and was thinking, what if i just let the printer pull the fillament when it needs it? And maybe solder multiple bottles to each other? Have you tried this?

I do NOT recommend that! The filament may be to thick for the 3d printer or pen. Even if. Probably dont use bottle plastic cause it's most likely NOT PLA??? Not to mention it could cause serious damage to your 3d printer if you used it. Its hard to tell what it is. Could be PLA, could be TPU. Either way. PLEASE do not try this. It can ruin your 3d printer/pen. No matter how "Cool" or "sick" it is just dont try it.

Should I ever get into 3d printing I'll have to remember this. I like to recycle stuff to make new stuff... I do that with my purges from my 3dpen cause it fills interior space making my little sculptures

U do understand that its really difficult to print with hot glue. Bcoz, its gonna be heated up to 220 degrees in the extruder and usually gets tangled up in the 0.2mm nozzle. Just use regular filament. It's like a kg for 10-20 dollars. It might even be cheaper than this setup.
