i'm going to buy one based on this review

My first comment as I have a Ping Pioneer I bought 3 years ago. I now wanted a similar type bag to push cart and carry, but a luxury almost price no object bag, if the quality is there, just like Rolex / Benz / McIntosh, you buy it and keep it forever. I never really knew the high end golf bag brands, then saw Vessel, G-Fore & Ghost, not sure if there are others (don't need realy leather). But reading the reviews and initially liking the style of the Ghost bag, to have it start to fall apart and flake after a year, to not really be adaptable to push cart, and smaller fatter side pockets (not many pockets) is not a good thing. I mean if you owned a Benz or BMW and go to another brand, the fit & finish is night and day. I just wish this company had used better outside material and stitching so that it can be a 5 yeare bag, not just super grrat looking out of the box and after a season the issues develop like your replies indicate.

Ordered my first about a week ago. Tournament this weekend but the glove won’t be here til Monday. Damn! 2 more rounds with my Taylormade glove.

What’s consensus on the club data with ST+? I worry that inaccurate club data is worse than no data, especially for someone using this to work on their swing…

Can you link the launch monitor with an iPad? Or phone? Like if I use on the range

What size shoe are you do you think my size 12 golf shoe fits in there?

Hello, always good reviews, does it show face impact as well and impact locations ? Not with the optic as I think we cannot see much with this function of the real impact

Just received my Katana all black bag today. Only question was what colorway to get.

my st+ works really well with all of my clubs EXCEPT my driver. it was all the sudden registering 100 slices. has anyone seen improvement WITH face stickers? just trying to get back on track with the numbers for the driver.

How does it compare to the vessel pro ?

I bought it and hate it with the heat of 1000 suns. I shoulda thrown a fist full of cash at passing cars on the highway, it would have been a more enjoyable use of my money. It's a stand bag, not a hybrid bag. If you use it to walk, go for it. It's great. If you use a cart or push cart, the 14 way divider is backwards to not have your clubs bang against shafts. Unless you put your clubs in backward. It doesn't have enough storage space for anything but the bare minimum. It's all style over function. It does look cool though. So I guess there is that. Though the logo's are overdone....Pac-Man ghost logos everywhere.

Should have mentioned…u have to have a really good PC to use the software. Cant screen mirror it like mlm2pro or skytrak from iPad/iPhone to a projector

Thanks for making this. I was dead set on buying this for an indoor simulator, but mostly outside at the range off grass. Seeing how you can’t hit this off grass and I take big divots this is a huge selling point of me. The launch pro it is!

Vessel makes their bag. Probably even their towel.

Torn between this and the vessel.

Not wanting to be controversial but my Merc S class certainly doesn’t have synthetic leather and I highly doubt BMW or Porsche use it in their cars either. synthetic leather don’t breathe so it wears and cracks much faster than genuine leather especially in sunlight.

I see it as a Vessel rip off. I think you pay more for the name than the product.

will the 14 way accommodate jumbo max grips?

I'm in the market for a bag and ready to buy the Ronin. My only concern is, where do you keep an umbrella? Is there a location to hold one?

For $380 the bag should be able to withstand and cart strap or it should be included.

best review i hae seen yet on GC3 (and I have seen many). Great job! trying to see what the competitors are - I assume the Uneekor Mini?

I have seen other reviews online about the ghost golf bags, that mention the exterior of the back has started to crack and peel. I have also see reviews about the stitching not holding up on the exterior of the bag. I would love to see a follow up video after a few months of use. Great video!

Question: I’ve seen the Uneekor Eye Mini handle very short putts and chips (1-2 feet) without issues (no gimmies). Can the ST+ or BLP handle this?

Great review. Wondering how Bushnell tech support is with this. I have the first version of Skytrac and they are not helpful at all. I would call them awful.

I just bought the Tour V6 non shift and dont know if there is slope on it. I see the slop number at the bottom and all that when i first turn it on but dont know if I have it or not.

I think your review was spot on as far as it went. Unfortunately, you didn’t go far enough based on my experience with the SkyTrak+. If you want to use the SkyTrak plus for Sim the one I briefly had was terrible at chipping, and obviously has no putting in the provided software. The club data gets wonky at times to the point that I could not trust it for game improvement. I had a 13 yard chip shot register at 94 mph club speed. I’m old and can’t swing a driver that hard. Misses or data like that occurred more than 1/2 the time on short shots. I sent feedback and opened tickets but got no response that wasn’t automated. Overall the missed swings, and/or bad data seemed to occur about 1 in 12 to 15 swings. For a launch monitor in this price range that’s not acceptable in my opinion. I noticed the firmware was still less than 1.0 so I think it may have been rushed to market and that’s why it was under the radar. After three weeks of trying to & wanting to make it work, I’ve given up and it is going back.

Hi there, great review. Does it actually work in the rain? I thought lasers had trouble as the beam gets refracted on the rain drops causing false or failed reads. Great it's waterproof, just not sure it's practically useable in wet conditions?

Question: does the launch pro have the ability to do putting? I understand that the mini even includes putting even in the photographic review in View. It would be interesting to see a comparison of green side chips and putting. So far I have tried and returned the R10 (before RCT balls), MLM2PRO, and the SkyTrak+ because they’re short game features were so poor. As I keep working up the price scale it’s either the BLP or the Eye Mini and your review is helpful in this very expensive decision- THANKS

Great review - quick question (might have missed this in the comments).. Can you use this for speed training i.e. Stacks or Speed Sticks? I heard you say that the Skytrak+ uses doppler along with it’s cameras. Thanks!

I appreciate your discussion of both the pros and cons of the Eye Mini. I don't know about the BLP but I did purchase a GC3 last November. I took it to the range and compared shot for shot with my coaches Trackman 4 and found no differences that mattered with the exception that the GC3 (and BLP and Mini) cannot account for wind or terrain. As to the SW - IMHO the Foresight gaming SW sucks. I bought a gaming laptop with 32 GB of RAM and the latest GPU and CPU and both FSX Play and 2020 take forever to load. If I shank a ball into the trees there is no way (I have found) to take a drop and keep going. Also with multi-player if the wrong player hits the ball there is no way back to get back on track. My minor complaint of the SW is that it would be nice the shot data could be captured and down-loaded of analysis. The cost to get E6 SW from Foresight is unbelievably expensive and to pay between $150 and $500 per course doesn't seem reasonable. In summation for myself - the GC3 is a great launch monitor and has helped me become a better golfer. Entertainment value - It is not much fun to have a friend or two over and play a game on the courses provided. The current price for the GC3 is around $7,500 so even the most expensive choices on the Mini seem pretty good.

Terrible unit. I have had two. First one the battery wouldn’t charge so had to return it and it was exchanged for a new one. The new one stops working after a few shots. Sometimes 2 max 12. Go from all green lights to the red tick staying on the the other two lights flash blue and then turn green but the tick stays red with no laser. Have to turn unit off and on again to get it working then exactly same thing after a few hits.
