Can you explain what do you mean non-uniform magnetic field and alternative magnetic field?
C'mon, guys. Audio quality MATTERS! :)
Hello, it is a good presentation, thank you so much. I have questions, what is the effect of magnetic field on thermal and dynamic boundary layer thickness? how to input or setting of magnetic field in ANSYS FLUENT?
Regarding a simple rectangular channel, you have a thickness inversely proportional to the Hartmann number (delta_H = L/Ha) for the kinematic boundary layer (Hartmann layer) developing close to a wall perpendicular to the magnetic field (Hartmann wall). For a wall parallel to the field, the scaling law is slightly different, indeed delta_S = L/Ha^(1/2). I do not recall specific relations for the thermal boundary layer, but keep in mind that heat transfer is strongly affected by the suppression of velocity oscillations operated by the magnetic field, so it is not uncommon to observe a heat transfer regime close to laminar convection or even purely diffusive. Regarding FLUENT, there is a section on the manual devoted to it.
Thank you so much for your answer@@AlessandroTassone
It seems to be similar to fluorescence. What is the difference?
Has tungsten been exposed to plasma and laser and extent of sputtering tested ? Or exposed until total failure occurs ?
Why does the tungsten armour even need to maintain high toughness? Due to withstanding thermal stresses?
Excellent presentation. Thank you.

Hi Where to start the study of nuclear fusion
It depends on your background. Fusion-EP masters will be a good choice too

The commercial fusion reactor was developed a long time ago. It can even be made in one year. But none of the scientists, the developers need it. These developers of the commercial fusion reactor are talentless and useless, they will never make a commercial fusion reactor. They don't know how to make one, so they promise to make a commercial fusion reactor by 2030, or 2050. And that's not certain. All the developers have been offered a new design for a commercial fusion reactor for free. But they are stupidly silent. Because they are not professionals at designing a commercial fusion reactor. They can hold plasma at over 100 million degrees, but that's silly, it's not necessary for nuclear fusion. In media interviews they say very stupid things and show their lack of professionalism. Soon the time will come and everyone will see that all these developers of commercial fusion reactor are unprofessional. orcid.org/ 0000-0003-2898-1608 www.researchgate.net/publication/360022278_180422_Commercial_fusion_reactor DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.17455.61601 www.patentauction.com/patent.php?nb=17262
I'd be interested to hear a comparison between prospects here with alternate layers of tungsten and diamond, and novel high entropy alloys. Does perhaps the initial narrowing down via elemental properties miss opportunities in the latter space?
