Airfix 1/48 RAF Buccaneer its finished
This is my next build.
Haven't bothered looking up the missiles used but from memory weren't they hellfires? Looking forward, when you get around to building it, to your views in comparison I said in an earlier comment that I reckon the Meng will be a great build. Those rivet locations on the boom were a downer for me. Anyhow take care Clive cheers mate
Hey buddy that’s exactly what they were called HELLFIRES 😂 well that seam on the bottom is also on the Takom kit, I think I know how to get around the bad join affect all will be revealed 😀👍🏻💙
Another good look Clive, many thanks mate. Looking forward to your build of this. Offhand, I think this kit will suit me better than the Takom one but there is only one way to really know. 😊
Hi Ron my pleasure I think this kit will be a heck of a lot easier to build than the Takom kit that’s for sure 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
Its a nice kit I built it when it first came out Clive .
Hi Carl was there any fit issues I’ve had a quick dry run on some of the parts, I’ve not come across any ill fitting bits yet although it’s early days 😀👍🏻. I’ve just been tinkering with some of the Takom Apache parts I have left over, they fit perfectly the only thing is what does the British Army AH-64E look like 🤔
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 hi Clive it went together well but the instructions are a bit vague with were parts go . you were right the only out side difference from the E are the exhaust the rest I believe from the research I have done is the avionics. Enjoy.
@@carlmitchell3431 cheers Carl I’ve just had a browse for the WWP Apache in detail book number 2 but no joy
Very nicely done Clive.

@@allgood6760 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like that it’s a great way of putting it superb stuff, man I have some of the best subbers that’s made my day mate and thank you buddy 😀👍🏻💙🍻🇬🇧
Very cool, Clive. I prefer Reedoak figures as well. Lately ordering more from Reskit for exhaust nozzles and weapons. They are doing more in figures.
@@SEMJW reedoak are the best in my opinion but there is a new company I’m looking at trying some of their crew figures. R2 Miniatures they’re on Facebook and they look to be a good runner up 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
DEF Model do an A-10 pilot figure. 3D printed, really good
@@ivanwomack cheers dude I’ll look into that thank you 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Sprue brothers sells an A10 pilot its for the academy kit, but it fits pretty well.
@@FreakyFactsDaily oh rite I’ll have a look into that thank you 😀💙👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
I bought this one from temu as well recently, suddenly they went for 67 euros, couldn't leave it for that price 😁
Nice one buddy it’s a cool looking helo, I went back to have a look at another one but they’re now selling for no less than £80 plus so I had a bargain 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Very nice Clive...Def model do some pilots for an A10 the Academy one but I'm sure they would fit, I got one for mine a female pilot standing on the ladder, worth a look, ive got the A version also direct from China at 74 pounds including shipping 👍
@@allanrichardson5898 cheers Allan I’ll look into it thanks, I too now have the A-10A and boy I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it, it’ll be next year now as I’ve a few odds n sods to finish but it’ll be a video build for you lot 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
It turned out so nice mate, well done
@@basicminiaturepainting thank you buddy 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Hi Clive, the A-10 has turned out perfectly, I have to admit if one was chasing me, I would dig a very deep holw very quickly, what's next on the bench? Bedt regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
@@lesthiele4921 thank you kindly Les what’s next we’ll it was going to be that 1/4 Rossy Yamaha YZR F1 bike but I’m now waiting on a new fairing and tank, I might carry on with that if it all turns up ok otherwise it’ll be the finishing of my CH-53E or the A400M as we’ve only two months left either way I’ll think of something 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧

@@marianmm7034 cheers buddy how are you thanks for the wave 👋🏻💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
I had this kit on pre order as soon as I heard of it and that they got the engines and the nose better than the others in the same scale. G.W.H. are producing some really good kits in both 1/48 and 1/32 scales. Please build the other F-22.
Hi Mark it’s the best kit out there A-10 wise, I’ll defo build the F22 it’ll be in the new year 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
I had a bit of damage on one of the forks, their customer services were amazing, sent a new one (to my old address which was my fault) and yodel 'delivered it' No trace of it so theyre sending me another one. currently waiting for it now so hopefully be here in a few days 🤞
Hey buddy that’s promising for you, how far into your build are you? Well I looked yesterday and they’ve got the two mags with parts out for delivery, let’s hope they get here 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 Im about 75% done, it would be finished if i wasnt waiting for the forks. Hopefully thet turn up soon!
That's not good mate, hopefully you can get it sorted
Well they’ve told me spare parts are on the way so let’s see 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
I'm liking the desktop doodles there Clive! Is that Friday 13th I see there?? Is there a Halifax on the horizon?!

Great to see you in the shop today Clive and glad we were able to sort you out, buddy!
As always buddy great times 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615 Job Well done!
I had the old academy kit , fuselage halves went together well , but it looks like you would have a tough time keeping the detail intact on the under side on these kits . I would like one of these kits if the price is right . I got the meng apache for £50 , the engineering on that is first rate .
Hi yes the detail is tricky to keep when models are made this way, I’ll see how I can get around it I’m sure there’s a way. I got this one on Temu for £57 free post try looking in there buddy you never know 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
I was a US Army ranger for about 5 years, A good friend of mine was a crew chief/gunner on the pave low with the 160 spec opns regiment... Ill show him your vid. im sure he will love it...
Ummm.... The Pave Low was the MH-53 J/M and only flew with the Air Force (20th, 21st and 31st SOS). The 160th SOAR obviously flew a version of the Blackhawk but it wasn't referred to as a Pave Hawk, only the Air Force version is.
@@mh53j LOL wtf do i know i was a grunt and the 160th SOAR guys were my uber.
@@mh53j and your right it was the MH-60, and Mh-47s

Wow that’s something what a life my friend was a door gunner on the British Lynx, he had some stories to tell. Thanks for getting in touch 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Have always wanted that kit because I did a number of missions on birds like that. That said, I have only seen a very few models of helos where the blades "look" correct - this is especially true if depicted in flight. Always a problem area. Look forward to seeing how it progresses.
Thanks Ryker you must of had an interesting career, I only got to see them when they were at RAF Lakenheath great looking helo. Mine will be static so I’ll try to get the blade curb right when I start it 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
Looks a superb kit Clive, cannot wait to see it at Club and built up,have you decided on which scheme you will do.
Cheers Steve 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
fantastic work, congrats
Thank you kindly 💙👍🏻😀🍻🇬🇧
11 month later, good old Scalemates have the Meng instructions with the colour call outs. Must admit I have done plenty of Takom Armour and yes the instructions are coloured through out so not sure was this Takoms first series of aviation models? Big faux pas indeed.
@@pete1927 I’m not sure but I think they’re all like it

Thank you buddy 💙😀👍🏻🍻🇬🇧
@@clivesmodellingchannel7615+ I subscribed to Nigel's channel as well I've been subscribed to his channel for at least 4 years now
Clive+ just subscribed to your channel
Clive + this is a stupid question but did you wash the parts because there's mold releasing agents on the plastic from the ejection processes they put a light oil to help get the plastic parts out of the molds just saying
Hi Dennis the model had been cleaned sanded primed you name it had it, the marks I refer to aren’t oil marks they’re scars from in the moulding process caused when injecting the plastic into the mould, I managed to get rid of them in the end by using thicker primer which lost some of the detail on the birds skin.
Hey Clive thanks for the video, please imo don't dump your videos like hints etc. there are videos in there that are gold for us plebs..my word not theirs :)..like your canopy det cord and others! Love watching thanks - Neil
Hi Neil hope your well and thanks for the very kind words, I was going to ditch all the promotion vids I did for a resin company as they don’t sponsor me anymore. I’ll leave all the tip vids and the vids that have a use to you all. 👍🏻💙😀🍻🇬🇧
