glad to come back to this video, as of April 2024, Disney have been teasing the ride return and apparently it should be returning in the next few years. construction walls are up as of the time of this comment (august 2024) and I will go there later this month to take a look. can't wait for this original to return.

EPCOT got a whole ass coaster, and basically made the same building, just half of it is outside. I rather prefer the colorful movable hall than a smelly corridor. The mess came about during COVID and aimed towards Disney+. They took a huge leap and left the parks in the dust and now they're trying to uprise it again. The entirety of cancellation came to funding and it was a shame. but were getting the same damn thing just happy there's no walls anymore and you have breathability in the center.

I think the problem isn't smartphones, but rather life getting worse instead of better for lots of people

Tbh it seemed like Disney just moved dirt around for a bit then made the blandest buildings ever and called Epcot complete

During the same period that this park is being upgraded, a completely new theme park is being built on the other side of the world (in Orlando) (Epic Universe). Just to say how slowly everything is progressing in France and how this still creates far too many expectations while the content remains very limited...

As nice as I'm sure these attractions will be for a lot of people, particularly children, I'm not feeling any sense of urgency in wanting to see any of these things. I feel like there's no surprises here.

I feel the biggest reason is because they simply arent making great movies lately. Good ones, sure. But there arent any movies that are real watershed cultural touchstones coming out of the film industry.

Since a fair amount of us English folks travel to Orlando rumor has it that unique UK IPs will be used so it doesn't effect Orlando and would mean Americans may want to travel to try it out. Lord of the rings, doctor who, Paddington bear, James Bond and roald dahl have all been rumoured to have lands or attractions

Not sure how Universal came to pick the UK when in 5yrs they won't be in Top 40 Economies surely you'd go France close to Paris Disney makes sense visitors spend a week for both parks.

Seriously don’t get the point of building an entire lake and frozen land just for a mediocre cloned dark ride. They might as well spend the extra money and add the roller coaster if they’re already putting so much work into building the surrounding area cause walking all the way back there for a single ride is ridiculous
