    Super video! Kort og præcis og med gode råd undervejs. Lav gerne flere af dem ;) Hvordan bruger du donkraften? Hvilke løftepunkter bruger du, og bruger du en gummibeskytter, klud, tæppe el.lign. til at beskytte lak/undervogn? Jeg har forsøgt mig selv og slap ikke helt heldigt fra det...

      Hejsa Tak for din positive kommentarer👍 Det vil jeg gøre når jeg støder på noget jeg kan videregive. Der hvor du kan se donkraften er der forberedte løftepunkter. Jeg har købt en gummiprop med et spor i jeg kunne sætte på donkraften. Og så passer det lige med at stykket på Vangen som peger ned kan ligge i sporet. Venlig hilsen Søren

    You my dear fellow are an absolute hero, I’ve been tugging and pulling on the coil packs for ages and decided to look online, found your video about using the airline and off they came straight away, I was worried about ripping the boots using pliers like others mentioned but way too much risk of damage, the airline trick is pure genius, thank you

    I have a Meile model 1714 its 13 yrs old but suddenly stopped working when i had started a wash. I heard a ' clunk' and from then on there was no display and the machine would not switch on . any common probs with these machines that you know of that might cause these symptoms.

      Hi David. Thanks for your coment:-) It works really good and you are sure not to "over boost". The best sound is at 0.75 bar and I get 100 NM extra at 1 bar so there is a little difrence to play around with. All components are IMI Norgren pneumatic components. The valve is a V04 or V05 with the biggest orrifice I could get. I believe it was 1.5mm or 1mm. You can use another valve but it must be a valve witout need for pilot air. The regulator is a R07 I believe in the area from 0-2.5 bar. I am regulating out 0.5 bar so a 1.5 bar regulator would also work. If you want a boost pressure higher than 1.0 bar you should be covered. The pressureswitch is a 0860810. It is quite cool and can set an output. I am thinking about controlling the bypassvalve to the intercooler and set it open until we have pressure. Right now it is controlled by the vacuum system which promptly closes hitting the speeder. That unit could do that. It will give a little better reaction at low rpm. I guess not significant but could be fun to design so why not ;-) Br. Søren

      Hi David I just came acros a scetch I made over the system. Note, there is a blend after the valve. I made that with a 1mm drill in the hose. It is to relieve the extra boost pressure when you turn the system off. Regulator: R07-100-RNAG, NORGREN, Valve: V04B286N-Q114A, Norgren/BUSCHJOST. Br. Søren

      Codes are not guaranteed to be the same across all Miele machines, but this is what the technical manual says for my machine, so it may be something to look at on your machine. I don't work for Miele, so unfortunately I can't help you beyond quoting what the manual for my machine says... *Fault code F53, tachogenerator:* *Symptom* In normal operation the display shows *Technical fault*. The drum or drive is blocked. The motor does not start or is switched off after 1.5 s. An attempt is made to start the motor during two reversing phases. In the spin cycle the program is interrupted immediately. The drive may possibly function again after a cooling period. The solenoid valve is closed and the drum pump is activated for 120 s. *Cause* Tachogenerator defective. The tachogenerator is not supplying any meaningful AC voltage to the power-programme module (ELP) *Check tachogenerator* (wrench icon) Check the tachogenerator, see Drive failure 070 3.1 *Cause* Drive defective. Via the tachogenerator the power-programme module (ELP) has detected a major discrepancy between the desired drive speed and the actual drive speed. *Remedy* (wrench icon) Check the drive, see Drive failure 070 3.1

      Yes, I did it on a hot engine, 2 min. then they were out. On a cold engine, they were really stuck.

    hi. your light please. I have a rattle noise at idle when the engine gets hot and the clutch is out. when I press the clutch in no noise. I use swepco 80/90 and I change the trans oil every 10.000. miles. what do you think throw out bearing or input/ main shaft bearing? or anything else?? thanks

      Hi George. I believe you are on the right track. Pressing the clutch you take out the gearbox and the throw out bearing of the equation. You also put tension on the clutch wire so if something is loose along/connected to the wire that could be it (slim chance I know but worth checking be for a complete disassembly.It could also be worth checking if you can remove the rattling on the clutch levet manually with the motor in idle. If it is the throw out bearing it should stop making noise if there is a light pressure on it. Good hunting ;-) Br Søren

    5:10 - "position 4 ... uh... some sort of American function." Doesn't seem to do anything that makes sense. European humour! Love it! Thanks for the vid, Soren. I'm looking at a similar problem for my W4800 and it builds confidence to see someone else's foray into the guts of a cousin unit. That little bit of debris you mentioned which seemed to be astride a couple of the traces leading to that fancy green chip was likely the problem. Even a slight short could have influenced the voltage levels in those signalling lines enough to prevent the activation of a relay somewhere else in the machine. A good tidy and cleanout never hurts (unless done without being careful.)

      Thanks for your comment. I agree but the debreis has not occoured while disassembled... I tend to think the electronics was reset during my complete disassembly of the PCB.

      Hi Bob. Yes still working perfect. Grease the rubber sealing so it dosn't run dry. I imagined that water would be lubricant enough. It is ok today but we had som squeeking :-)

      Hello Muhammad. Thanks for your question.My conclusion is that I could not detect any faults. Every part worked ok, but the motor would not run. I switched off electricity several times with no result. After taking out the PCB it somehow resat it self and the machine worked again :-) I believe that it some electronics in the PCB that needed to be isolated to reset....Br Søren

    Hi Søren, just for your info here regarding the motor on your model of Miele. You have a brushed motor which is controlled by the electronic pulsing DC current which controls the speed. Faster the pulses, faster the motor runs. Also when removing the front panel, you don’t need to remove those screws on the top behind that top fascia. Once you have the door seal retaining spring clip off, removed the two screws holding the door lock on, removed the screws on the bottom left and bottom right of the front panel and the large screw at 6 O’ Clock below the door seal, pull the bottom of the front panel towards you and the top of the panel will release from two plastic ‘pins’ and drop down. The panel is now released and can be removed and set aside. Also to make the door lock work with the front off, the manual door release is designed to fit into the door lock and making it work. It’s the round part which usually sits behind the filter housing door, that part fits in the door lock once you have the front panel removed. Regarding your motor not running, when you unplugged the edge clip electrical plugs, you would have for sure cleaned up a dirty connection. Also cleaning off any dirt would have solved the issue as well. Very small data voltages go back and forwards and it doesn’t take much to stop the machine from working. Well done indeed.     The circuit board was himself shorten out by contacting with the frame of the machine, or with other metal parts or cables near by or beneath. Or humidity or rust make the same with nearby parts of the board - especially valid for capacitors. If you saw on your video, 2:09 - 2:17, on the right front part of the machine, beneath the decorative white strip, there was a plenitude of rust.

      Thanks for your commen .I cannot tell but the rust did no occur while I was changing bearring (1 day) and it worked before. But somehow detaching all wires reset the PCB.

      Hejsa. Jeg fik lavet Topstykkerne hos Aabenraa Cylinderservice af Kaj Hansen.Han er meget kompetent. Borer for pændet ud af styrene så de ikke river når de skal ud, retter dem af, kontrollerer og vacuum tester ventilerne, rengør mm. Knasterne og vippearme fik jeg lavet af Bo hos Vestspeed. Samme sag, meget erfaren herre. :-) Obs. Fik rettet flere nye vippe arme af. Købt uoriginalt....men de var skæve fra ny :-( Mit rå er at du får det hele slebet i samme opspænding. Bo har også additiver til knasterne så de holder længere og fedt til break in.Takker, det glæder mig at de kan inspirere lidt :-)

      Vi fik lavet topstykker ved det gamle Marinus Nielsen, det ligger nu i Ribe og hedder TMDT. Udemærket arbejde der er lavet, og også her måtte der skiftes styr, skæres/slibes ventiler osv osv. Knastakslerne er helt fine, de kører videre - vi måtte stoppe et sted da ejeren ikke ønskede en hel renovering af kroppen og hele maskinen. Nye stempelringe blev det til selvfølgelig, spændende projekt.

Still working on the motor ass. video.....takes a lot of time. The reasson is simply longlivety, gadget effect and sufficient power in standard mode. The last 100 NM i get is only if I meet something vey fast.
