Well this has just hit me. How in the world has it been 14 years since I went through all the mortgage crisis stuff and I still have to deal with it today? Got sued last month for a debt I thought was gone after the foreclosure. Not one banker went to jail for predatory lending. The 80/20's and the like. They put everyone upside down on their homes. They also received the bail out. None of the servicers worked in good faith to resolve it years ago. We now see what their plan was all along. They wanted to wait it out until the values went up on their homes again. I have more to say, but I don't know how to say it yet.

its very hard hearing all the things hud supposedly does, because it just good media ro make everyone believe that they really .ake lenders follow their rule changes ,but they cant do amything when they domt even kmow fha rule changes in hud handbook, they have toally going to see me loose my home or try to make me refinance when i habe a 2.7 intrest,my abuser has been gone for over 2 year and i have no way to contact him and the mortgage company has not heard from him since someone put covid forbarrance on the loan, leaving me where i cannot do modification without abusers signature. my name is on mortgage, the deed but not the note. i have been on mortgage the entire tiime, ive stayed and ptotected the home and im going too b e put out with nothing, hud does nothing ,its pretty sad l they want you to be in public housing, forclosure is happening way too much, im sure im not the only one. they made rule change in effevt Sept 2022 allowing lender to exempt absent coborrowerdue to death deployment, domestic violence, abandonment, which i fall into 2 catagories,waving the need of quit claim deed even if they are not obligated on the loan. i found the rule myself and told them sent them the link. the housing problems is getting worse because ppl are losing everything so then they get put outand havingbto try tyo find a home but house because rent is more than their house, they arent trying to help anyone that has a low interest rate and equity, so they can sell our homes higher prices and higher interest, and the violence against womens act... when it comes to hud...thats exactly what it is ...an act. i can file bankrupcy when im trying to fix my life, or my favorits is i can spend money to go 800 miles and try to find my abuser and offer him money for quit claim deed,which isnt what i want to do. go pay him for my freedom to control my own life and future. so please no one should think hud will stand up for you , better keep looking theyre just gonna finish what abuser started destroy the little bit of secuity they have and boot the victim out loosing down payment, equity ,and live with with suffering and. also and struggling. im akso disabily and im almost 59yrs old,so im a vicvtim of hud, the housingb crisis is being created by the government , no one ad to sign or pr0ve anything not even their identity so lenders ran with it. i will bet my life that once again there will be lawsuits at unbelievable rates, you would think it would make sense that rules had to be different getting out of forbarrances. and my name is on my deed and mortgage but i cant do anything but wish i could just end it all sometimes bc its much too painful. my rights mean nothing i have none.

What are victims and survivors supposed to do when you have had financial abuse during domestic violence which caused low credit score and debt. High income, even have requested accommodation attched with documentation to verify the above this due to protected class. Make too much for low income housing, not to mention affordable housing is just another word for redlining. I have an advocate assisting me, they are even paying all move in cost and 6 months of rent. I still cannot get approved. I have clean background all the way across.

Other states should have videos like this. ..and while so many resources are going to help with evictions now ...the developers are coming into towns and building complexes...tearing down trees and raising rents so high (like triple what were) and local older apts and homes are matching those figures by increasing older local rents so ridiculously high without any improvements and driving even MORE folks right out of their homes , not because they did not pay their rent and where they always DID PAY AND ON TIME. So instead of this creating more needed housing...it's driving people out of homes and drawing those from cities who are used to paying higher rents .....while driving the locals out of their rural homes..they worked hard for. ..NOW THE INCREASED RENTS ARE SO OUTRAGEOUS THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO PAY AND HAVE NO PLACES TO GO. these increases are not necessary...and the landlords even admit that and say they just are doing it because they CAN when new developers come in and build higher rent complexes they feel they have a right to charge more for their older rentals too.... (even tho they don't have new accommodations or conditions that even warrants it. and rents were already too high. Singles, single parents and seniors on fixed incomes are most affected. i think we need programs that discourage this greed. And create more options for these folks who worked all their lives and should not be w/o a home.

So if you are a SII - The lender is aware (investor - Freddie) because the SII is included in the mortgage documents, deet of trust, and the previous transfer of ownership was done under an excempt transfer with a quitclaim to the SII and borrower, what do you do if the servicer will not communicate with you? I signed the documents at closing because my spouse forced me to and I had no idea what they meant. I had never spoken with anyone about the loan and we had applied jointly (to a different company apparently) before signing. I was told that everything I was signing was standard but that the notary could not explain any of it. I asked for copies but they said that they didn't have to give them to me. I have been asking for copies for two years now. I can not afford a lawyer, just so you know.
