I’d continue reading the series. There is another time jump but I think they are worth it.

Interesting perspective! I tried 2 times to finish all the 6 books. First time I stopped at 3rd - felt too slow at the beginning and to weird at the end. Second time I blasted through the 3rd book - really enjoyed it roughly the same level as previous two. But God Emperor of Dune... That's was too much for, let's put it that way :D Well, maybe next time I'll blast through it as it happened for me with The Chldren of Dune. By the way, happy to see Messiah getting some love! My favourite of 4 I read by far.

This is a perspective i didnt realise i wanted to see so badly. Congratulations on making it to GEOD, it gets weird but it gets you thinking and its super interesting. Could you see them ever making movies out of book 3 and 4? Book 5 and 6 are good but the first 4 for me are the real GOATs, deffo worth a read though if you've made it this far. I started my Sci-fi journey with the DUNE series like you, i can highly recomend Hyperion and the 3 Body Problem.

I had a conversation last pre-season with a Bills fan wishing Buffalo their first Super Bowl victory. I had them taking out the Chiefs (so damn close) and beating the Packers or Buccaneers in Super Bowl LVI. The person from Buffalo wrote about Joe Burrow being the guy to get the Bengals to the Super Bowl in a few years after a couple good drafts. I agreed the Bengals were a few years away from a deep playoff run and possible Super Bowl appearance. Damn if things didn't develope fast. They still have issues with the Offensive Line, but their skill players are pretty much elite at their respective positions. Joe Burrow is very good at pre-snap reads and his progressions he's been able to overcome some of their deficiencies on the OL. He's tough as nails, but his career won't last long if they don't fix the OL this off-season. I just want to add that from my experiences over the years Buffalo Bills fans are some of the classiest in the NFL. I hope Burrow/Bengals and Allen/Bills duke it out for the next 10+ years every season with the winner heading to the Super Bowl to represent the AFC.
