An Ostrich Told Me the World Is Fake and I Think I Believe It (Short film 2022 1080p WEBRip x264)
Took me ages to find it!
I didn't make this short film, I have simply uploaded it.
All credit goes to the director and writer- Lachlan Pendragon
And the Cast: Lachlan Pendragon, Micheal Richard, John Cavanagh, Jamie Trotter
If you liked this, you might love Anomalisa as well. It's a Kaufman film, so naturally, it surpasses all expectations. Do give it a try ;)

A pathetic attempt at doing something worthwhile. I'm simply not that talented :P I'm a thief, except for the videos. And yes, I recorded the audio, standing by a window at 1 am, when it was raining. Music- Penguin Cafe Orchestra - The sound of someone you love who's going away and it doesn't matter Quote- “When you get older, you notice your sheets are dirty. Sometimes, you do something about ...

I heard this Bangla song on Melissa Srivastava’s channel and instantly fell in love with her rendition. It really made me want to attempt singing this, even though I know I probably suck. Plus, my voice neither goes too high nor too low. My vocal range is fucked, it makes me question whether I should give up singing altogether :’) My poor accent and singing skills almost feel like an insult to ...
Between the Bars (cover)

I guess I had to think twice before uploading this cover because of a few reasons- Firstly, it’s not perfect and I make mistakes here and there, throughout. Then, I make such weird faces when I’m trying to sing xD I swear it’s just me trying to remember the lyrics and chords. Plus, I was a lil sick so I look pathetiiic :( The barred chords made my left hand cramp up terribly. That too, the even...

I first heard this song on Parks and Recreation and have loved it ever since. I probably have butchered it by attempting to make a cover of it but it just fills me up with hope and it will forever remain special to me :) Lyrics: The new day dawns, And I am practicing my purpose once again. It is fresh and it is fruitful if I win, But if I lose, Ooh, I don't know. I'll be tired, but I will turn ...

I quote the ostrich’s “Its a sham!” wayyy too often Anyways, this is one of the most memorable stop-motion shorts I’ve ever seen. Its so creative with its premise and how it portrays stop-motion itself

If this is what I think this is and the flickers outside the camera lens are actually hand movements setting the character motions 24 times a second then this is not just impressive, it us utterly brilliant and hats off to the effort. I mean just TRY THIS OUT. 1. FIRST check the starting movement of the ostrich in 0.25x speed. So 24 frames per second in .25 means 6 frames per second now. You will see the effort made for each second. 2. Now see the same repeat on 1.0x normal speed. 3. Think about finally breaking the fourth wall and try to understand that. I have no words as this is top tier quality content The funniest attention to detail was his name Niggle. The closest 5 letter word starts with the letter N followed by I and a double G(Hard G) could have been something else but please dont ban me.

So grateful you uploaded this! But I wonder if monetising it with ads is an ethical thing to do, as you've taken someone else's film and are profiting from it? Also you haven't included any links to Lachlan's website or social media, imagine how many people could've clicked his website URL in your video description and come across his other wonderful work, maybe contact him about a job or something :)

"an ostrich told me the world is fake and I think I believe it." sounds like a creepy pasta title and I love it. I really like the idea and how the animators can be seen in the background as the story goes. This was the best.

Not gonna lie, this is the best short film I've ever watched! Neil felt like a real person among the one-dimension background characters. As someone starting animation this was definitely one of the most coolest things ever. It's a great horror conpect to a animated character finding out about they are a fake, fictional being.
