No crunch, most likely no contact. The guy on the outside most definitely turned-in without looking first. All and all the guy on the inside nicely handled it all.

Actually a nice job avoiding contact there and avoiding a spin.....especially since the car is pretty light there in turn 1 before the compression zone.

Interesting distinction between HPDE and racing. In a race, the other car almost certainly would have seen you and expected you to be there. In HPDE, it's VERY strange to try to pass there in a high speed turn. Also very weird he did not see you, obviously. When you talked to him, did he know you were there? It doesn't look like it.
