I spent some time at the Riverwalk today. I wasn't able to deal with the woods hike I had planned. My allergies and old gym shoes couldn't handle the bugs or steep sand hills. It's crazy when you meet someone going through what you went through and it not only helps you see your own progress, but also gives you the words to help encourage them to keep going. You experience true empathy with real understanding. (IMO) It also let's them know they are not alone in this journey. Its crazy how the cycles begin, progress and wrap up.
