For people reading, if you connect the wires wrong, you will see a "Hi" at the start of the reading. This means you should reverse the connection. You will then see a "Lo" reading at the start which means its working fine. If you still see "Err" after connecting the two wires and reversing the polarity, it just means there is some other issue with the unit.
