Wow! That looks like fun. About as close to feeling like a bird as you can get. It must feel so free. I'm just too used to having a windscreen, doors and wings :)
It sure is. Been grounded a few months though. Dang 2 stroke motors
Gonna need a bigger canoe
We watched you guys from the boat it looks like an amazing time I’d love to learn how to fly
most people in south florida go to homestead airport to learn aerolight.com/. I havent used them personally but everyone I fly with says they are great to learn with. Thanks for the comment and yes the views are awesome. simply the best way(and cheapest) to experience flight imho.
Was just looking at this lake on the map, is there a good LZ?
its mostly open cattle fields around there so ya if you had to land it wouldnt be a problem. The place where I can camp at for free is a little sketchy as the lz is a little tight.
Looks beautiful. Might just have to buy one myself. Yeaaaaaaa. Hopefully your shoes didn’t fall off and hit some old lady in the head
saw lots of big sharks down there. scary how close to shore they are.
Top Gun reference at the end? Going for the inverted angle
I feel the need for 39mph!
Needs more of a steady flow and transition to the next scene. Rapid Camara movement distracts the viewers. Like when I use to shoot womprats in my T-16. Or, the trench space Battle in Star Wars #4
no no no no no shakey cam is all the cinematic rage now
@@gregson99 You ruined the last Indiana jones, don’t make bring the full weight of the galactic empire of ILM and destroy you..
Wonder what Steven Spielberg thinks of this masterpiece
Magical foggy mornings...love it
its smelled a little more like smoke but looks foggy enough to me:)
nice
Oh man. when you started going in circle twice I couldn't look I was getting so dizzy. Yes, I get motion sickness badly. So, is this not the sport for me then? :-)
No you can fly any way you want. Another pilot gets motion sick easily too.
@@gregson99 I would never do spins. Just wonder if the air currents bounce you around. How do you learn on the ground about what each strap controls when you pull it? I'm guessing 2 each side. up and down and left and right?
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv up and down is the throttle for more or less thrust. Left and right is done with either or combination of tip steer, brake handle, weight shift.
@@gregson99 YEP, now I'm an expert flyer... CRASH!!! Like how do you get your training before taking off. are there 2 seaters that you fly with someone else?
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv there are tandems but it's still a little different flying those to singles. I did fly 2 flights on a tandem at first but you could easily just have instructor on radio. Are you seriously considering or just curious?
what, no sound? what happened.
Was flying past the speed of sound:) I know you miss the wind and 2 stroke noise
I think I can add this to my ... "death wish" list. That would be an interesting way to end it. SPLAT! Or could you flip over on your back with the fan facing the ground and slow down and just hover like an airboat?? JD as in JD state park? You missed your opportunity to swing around for the train and land and take off again from it. That would have been a video to make and see and if you lived.. you would be famous... well.. either way. Famously dead or alive. :-) You the daredevil, and you did not even fly close to that train. That would have been cool too. What happened? "The Human Drone"
hahaha no I dont think that would work unless u were a gyro and weight less than 120 lbs. Its really safer than riding a motorcycle with today's drivers on the road and alot more fun.
Just asked about loc 7 on your last video I saw and just found this one. Cool. Glad you fly a lot better than you edit video. This one you are all over the place. :-) Cool, did not know you could shut the engine of and just float. So much to learn. Finally ... get to see a landing....and with no power. Too many straps to pull. :-) Need a spare shoot. I guess if a plane takes off and lands into the wind.. that makes sense.
That was so cool. If you ever come to Okee and take off at Loc 7 let me know. Would love to see how everything is done.
Do you have a gps with you for air speed and distance? Need more info on those. forget what they are called and prices. Just saw the names on the shoot and googled that. thanks.
I just use my phone and paragliding logbook dot com
@@gregson99 I have a dumb phone, so. I have an old garmin v from 2004 that is perfect for that.
Wow, you got up fast. Where is this? Keep this up and your going to need a much better foam element for the mic. Martin county??? Wow, never would have guessed. But I did see the high tension power lines.
Hobe Sound, FL out west. Gotta wait for the video to process lol. its still 360p. Thanks for the like
@@gregson99 Never said I "LIKED" this video............I "LOVE" it. :-) Your a crazy fool or .... I'm too old. What hwy. was that?
@@gregson99 So I guess that's the inter coastal correct?
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv where did you see me on youtube to find me?? That should be bridge rd most of the video.
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv no, its the canal that goes to port mayaca, lake okeechobee and turns into the st lucie river to the northeast.
Looks very relaxing. How long can you stay airborne?
lots of variables, using thermals and extra fuel hours and hours. Typical flight is 1hr to 1hr and 30minutes then my butt starts getting sore and Ive had enough lol.
@@gregson99 That's funny. Seems to be everyone's problem. I just did a 52 miles round trip bike ride fro okee to the other side of the bridge at port mayaca. "port mayaca bike ride." I am in so much pain because of my spine injury. took 6 hours to do it. At 62 .. it was a killer ride for my lower back. Never again. thanks.
Nice one!
The take-off zone there is sketchy. Trees all around and power lines on 1 edge of the field. There's only one angle you can come in and kind of bank and land to be safer.
No Macdonald's fly by? Boooooo
There's plenty of McDonald's in the making out there in the fields
Totally rad, brooooo. Cha, yeaaaa. Nailed itttt
heyya thanks, dont forget to hit the like button, subscribe, and hit that bell for future notifications:)
Some nice vid capture Cheers
Thank you it was a beautiful flight
Nice looking day Looked a bit bumpy down low that time. Cheers
I made tuna sandwiches, you want one?
Yo dude, YOU BETTER STEP OFF. Ya whatever.
@@gregson99 I, I, brought a superman comic for ya, Tony
bring the comic but step off George, JUST STEP OFF! @@georgecostanza6586
What motor and frame are you flying?
You should also get some ear protection on that helmet, it’s well worth it as it’s really noisy when flying. You don’t want to get stuck with a hearing loss.
Hi im wearing ear plugs, the motor is an hpr180 with an exhaust leak thats why it sounded so bad. Frame is the russian skymax.@@hobie1613
Nice angles, Spielberg
I was just at Hickory Hammock WMA two days ago hiking, Dec. 6, 2018. I was at the Equestrian Campsite around 12:45 to 1:45. Were you there camping? I saw what looked like your machine attached to the camper's car there. You were shooting at a cardboard box with your bow? If it wasn't you, I apologize. What an amazing machine you have. You seemed so relaxed and traveling at a good speed. You are obviously very comfortable with heights. How did you get involved with this flying parachute?
hey, ya that was me. Ive seen these flying at the beach since I was a teenager. Always had my mind set to learn how to fly one. It took about 10 or so more years before I got into it finally meeting people at the beach who taught me how to fly. You know I don't like heights when standing on say a high building but this is completely different sensation flying. Also you feel pretty secure in that harness and wing(as long as the air isn't too turbulent:) Thanks for commenting.
Awesome dude! keep em coming. Ive subscribed

Have you guys ever thought about trying to launch from the Indiantown airport? Looks like a grass strip and it might be mowed more frequently?
Ill ask the gang next time we fly together about that. Little bit of spill burg history, X58 is where little burg had his first taste of flight in a vintage piper j3 cub at 13 years old:) Been fascinated with flight ever since.
I want to do a cross country one of these days to port mayaca from bridge road. Just need someone to drive my car there.
I'll be down after labor day if it can wait 'til then...
you have a 2nd home in south florida? Im sure you would want to do an XC with me in that case:)
I find one foot in from of the other on final helps me transition to a stand up landing (especially if the grass is damp) with more reliability.
thanks Todd, Ill try that next time as I always come in hot being overloaded. I haven't flown in the wet grass so I don't slip, only trouble I have is occasional frame rub on my calf as I touchdown.
Looks like perfect weather!
Eat your heart out, Tucker, this guy is the bomb
Looks like nice weather
it was cool weather but air was a little rough at this time in the afternoon(5:00pm)
where are u going?
Dirt Biker cancun,Mexico
Wow so beautiful! Thumbs up and Greetings from Ireland! :)
Thanks for the comment. Would be a cool spot to film with your drone for sure. Ireland is very beautiful as well.
