You need to work on muting the strings you don't want to ring out. with the left hand/fretting hand you can mute strings you don't want by merely resting any part of your finger on the string you want silenced (without pressing down). So that even if you hit the string by accident the note will not sound. You can even mute with fingers that are already holding another note by using the fleshy pads of the fingertips to mute/touch the next string down. Does that make sense?

Been tuning in every day for a few months now. Keep up the good work. A better way to do a two finger G is to fret the 1 and 6 strings and mute the 5 with whatever finger you're fretting the 6 with.
