I have a pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots made with Essex. Amazing quality. The only product I use with it is oil. Mink oil or neatsfoot oil. Let in soak in. Then brush it. Beautiful.

I know this may sound weird but how is the smell? I only ask because Parker did a bag on his channel about a duffel he made from lafarc Tannery and his complaint was the leather had an off putting smell.

What is the difference between oil pull-up leather and crazy horse leather
It aged really bad in just 6 months. Not even the cheap pueblo or buttero ages this bad in 6 months. This is why you stick to horween or wickett and craig to avoid this misfortune. Not even the hated chrome tan ages as bad as this.

It will be too rigid for upholstery, I recommend 2-4 oz with a soft temper for upholstery

I bought a shoulder of this hide a while ago but not sure if it is burnish-able? Any insight on this or if it is veg tan or chrome tanned? I love your store and have loved all you’ve produced!! Thank you!!
Veg tanned will burnish nicely, as long as it's a regular or firm temper. If it's a soft temper it will be harder to burnish. For chrome tanned, if it does burnish we will mention that in the video. This was a veg tanned leather with soft temper so the temper might make it a bit harder to burnish. I recommend using Tokonole!

the table legs make the sound, my wooden table with wooden steel legs does not do that. Of course my legs are on carpet. So ,aybe try a piece a carpet under legs.

Suggestion for leather work use millimeter and centimeter for accurate measurements. For me its alot easier and I bet others would like that best too.Thanks for the Vids
