Years later I'm just baffled by how few people have heard of this pedal. I've gone through a lot of wah pedals but I always keep the black cat around. As simply a wah, it sounds great. Combine the moan and wah, it adds an entirely new dynamic to playing.

Really very good this Wah Rocktron Black Cat Moan pedal, I have it and I don't regret it, there are many possibilities of effect and combining with different types of effects pedals is great. I've tried to use this amp several times and I get a bad hiss from it even when nothing is plugged in it, also runs off a Furman power conditioner. OK it you like a noisy amp I guess, for me it is not usable for that lvl of bucks would sooner go with a SLA-4 which is a great SILENT amp. Problem selling this one is it's so heavy the postage kills the resale bucks! I've asked Rocktron many times that maybe I have something bad in the amp, they never even give me the customer service to even suggest sending it in for a bench check. I think it has a problem as I cannot hear any hiss on the demo vids. So it sits in box w me out the money. Again ART SLA-4 solid amp, my SLA-1 has been amazing for some time, really good studio grade power amps! Rocktron huge money loss disappointment for me. By the way I was running 4 2x12 cabs with this and it was just fine, just can't stand the hiss noise floor and that is again present with NOTHING plugged in.

Do you still run the poweramp emulation of the modeler ? Is it enough transparent (FRFR) to use that emulation on top of it ?? Cheer !!!

The Mainline has tube emulation circuitry and a line/instrument switch which allows you to use the amp with pedals directly as well as preamps. We will have a video demoing that in the future as well.

What are the differences between the mainline and the velocity 300?

Ive got it figured out its nice and easy,but i want the most transparent tone of my mesa dual rectifier as possible. Do you set anything specific in the global or mixer sttings to get true tone? Do u put it on digital or anolog? Again,any tips u could throw my way would be outstanding!!!! Rock on Mike YOU ARE AWSOME!!!!!!!!!
