I'm thinking of traveling to Colombia. I've been studying Spanish online with a tutor who lives in Manizales. He's told me a lot of his country, its culture and history etc. Right now I'm thinking I'll visit Medellin and maybe take a Spanish course there and then head up to Manizales to meet my tutor in person. I found your comments very interesting. I hope too many American's don't move there because they'll spoil it and also drive up housing prices for the locals unless they're building a lot of new housing down there.

🎉 colombia is not cheap anymore as it used to be. Still some stuff is cheaper but cost of living has like doubled since Covid. And if they are so happy in colombia for hundred bux like you say why are they migrating massivly abroad.

The USA has no culture, at all. Its population is ignorant. Has more degrees per capita than any country in the world and the population is dumber than rocks. I’m ready to get out. I lived in Colombia for a year. My STBX is Colombian but very toxic. But I would live in Cartagena, I loved the time I was there.

It is all fun and games if you can continue making USD.
