Isuzu Dmax passenger side water leak - fix

This video explains where the water ingress was, in a 2017 Isuzu Dmax ute. After a day of moderate rainfall, the footwell, passenger side of the cab was soaked wet with about 4 litres of water. I have only had one other occasion when there was water detected in the footwell. Initially I thought it might have been a poor windscreen seal.

This video shows how to replace the 3mm window glass in wind-out Camec caravan windows. In this case I used tinted perspex that was cut and supplied by ASAP Plastics, Moffat Beach in Queensland.

Update, I fitted the grommet over a week ago but we haven’t had any rain where I live until last night.This morn a large puddle on my floor mat.I used to get a small amount of drops.this time it seems like more!.so annoying!
I think it’s coming in the roof of mine
This has been pissing me off for ages!.had a hole in the firewall grommet from a redarc brake controller and thought that was definitely the cause of the leak.Thought I plugged it up nicely, last night with the torrential rain I thought I would be getting into a dry car this morn only to be greeted with a puddle again!!. Hopefully your solution will fix it permanently!!.
How did the fix go? I have the same issue on my Max, just ordered grommets and will tackle over the w/e.
