For me Lord Astor spoiled Never why because he made a drawing or something like why did he have to do that? he should have left it as it was or take something from and a smaller room and leave part of this kitchen Places like this one should not be changed some alteration yes but not much for me it should have been as it was it's a historic place

I was here in July 2018. Amazing castle but wish I’d taken a bus to get there like this. I took a train then walked to this remote location. Very dangerous roads and easy to get lost.

Thank you for taking the time to film and upload your visit to Hever. I was fortunate to visit with a small group of academics in 2017, and the staff advised us of the many changes that had occurred within the Castle since the time of Anne Boleyn, most noticeably during the time of Lord Astor.Nevertheless, a remarkable place to visit, with its deep historical significance. The gardens, as your film clearly shows, are simply gorgeous, and extensive. Anyone planning a tour should allow ( in my opinion ) a minimum of four hours for full appreciation of house and garden. Thank you once again, and pleased you did not fall down the stairwell whilst filming :)

Just watched the first five minutes of this video. It is as though you have taken the card out of the camera and uploaded it without any editing. You have many very good shots which deserved to be looked at, but you have not trimmed any of them to take out the not so good footage, which is a shame. You could probably halved the time of the video just by taking out the in-between bits. I will continue to watch, thanks for the upload.

Lisa O'Connor those mannequins dressed as Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn looked so alive, as though they were about to walk around or face the camera and speak to us. They would probably demand to know why we’re all here gaping at them and invading their castle like they were animals in a sideshow, and why we’re not standing to attention, kneeling, bowing/curtsying before them. By the way, did you know that Henry VIII is said to be the first monarch to be addressed by the title “your Majesty” when other kings before him were referred to as “His Grace” and were also addressed as “Sire”? This is because Henry VIII regarded himself as being the Lord’s anointed and believed he was one step away from God and therefore had God’s majesty. “His Grace” was used because kings regarded themselves as having the Grace of God. Hope that makes sense.
