Open Seeds OLS-9 Week 4: DRI-EDIA Q&A Webinar - 1
Hi, this is Yalbi Balderas-Martinez attending this session, I am a researcher from Mexico city, I work on bioinformatics, mainly on respiratory diseases, my project here is about creating gold standards on documenting bioinformatic projects...
Congratulations everyone!!
I thought the open review process was an interesting argument, but seemed to assume that the person doing the reviewing was more established than the person being reviewed. I would like to know some thoughts of how one would approach a less established reviewer with a niche interest reviewing the article of someone who is very powerful in the field. If this was an open review, and the review was not positive, would this not put the reviewer in a vulnerable position, given the power dynamics?
Alette, I've tagged you in Slack where we had a similar conversation, and similarly am checking if it's okay to cross-post some of the comments here....
🎉 Really cool
So Great its interesting
I was a nice session
Great presentation
Really interesting presentation. Unfortunately the captions are way out of sync so I can't use them to follow from about 10 mins into Chris's speech. I recommend that you chuck the text into RUclips as a transcript and get RUclips to time it cos it does a pretty decent job on the timing-to-audio side of that.
Hi Natalya - oh no! We will fix this asap, and thansk for letting us know!
@@YoYehudi Thanks! It seems to be mostly in Chris's bit, the rest got better. Thanks for replying.
Anteghini’s English smashes up! Tutto merito della ferretti❤
