Just had to replace the bulbs on my wife 2019 Crosstrek the video made it easy for me to do in 15 minutes or less. I just used a plastic tool to help me push the holders out ! And easy peasy thanks for the video

Nice Video, I just picked up a 2021 Crosstrek. Realized the cargo lights are horrible. I pretty did the same what you did, spliced from the small cargo and ran wires to the same location. I wanted the option to turn on and off so I added a switch. Nice work man!

I am 5'6" and I am able to lay down comfortably in my 2019 Crosstrek. I used a measuring tape to size myself inside. Anyone 5'10" and shorter should be able to comfortably lay flat inside with the back seats folded down.

Great vid! Just starting binge watching because I just bought a Crosstrek. Is there such thing as softer or warmer LED lights for interior? My '24 Limited has LED map and dome lights but old school halogen for cargo area?? I don't find the LED lights very bright and I definitely don't like the color temperature--almost like old school low wattage fluorescent lights. It seems most modern cars have crap for reverse lights. My old 2010 Rav4 had superior stock backup lights! I had to swap out reverse lights for all of the three cars that we bought the last 3 years.

Do happen to know if this fits a '24 Crosstrek? Auxito only lists Crosstreks up to 2022 on their fitment guide

Flicker is caused by lack of a canbus or resistor adapter.

That corrugated plastic is sometimes called “corflute” and is used for temporary signage (like election signs): you might be able to snag some for free when the signs come down

I just bought some LED lights - a box of four bulbs by AUXITO, but my Subaru Crosstrek is a 2017 model. The fan appears to be built into the bulb units themselves which are a solid L-shaped one piece, with no cable or ballast box or whatever that is connected on the wire lead. Does anyone know if what I bought will simply be plug and play? I’ve changed the halogen bulbs more times than I can count which is only about a 10 or 15 minute job. However, I understand that LEDs can have overheating/flickering issues, which could turn into a several day problem solving deductive reasoning task The model number on the box is: 9005(HB3)+H11(H9/H8) Thanks to anyone who can help in advance! You make getting those lights out so easy. My casings are so super tight I hurt my hands trying to slide them. They wont budge!😖

Are there any electrical issue with changing these out? I have had several issues with other vehicles and LED bulbs.

Thanks for the videos! I got a 23 Premium special edition and have been using your videos to update to LED on my trek. Side note: A thing that helped getting the old bulbs out, was opening the hatch so it was eye level with me which made it easier for me to see and take them out.
