Thanks for the feedback. I’ll definitely prep something for the terms and how they apply. The logo I borrowed from the local Union here and had one of my CAD friends upgraded to my needs. I’m very glad you like it.

This is great. If you ever get a chance a video explaining the terms and what each represents would be great also to help people upgrade from manuel level technique to advanced. Like center line rise witch i think is a simple concept but im not sure if i really understand exactly what in the physical end product represents. The total rise from floor to top most part of of elbow radius? I find i skip the jargen then try to reverse engineer whats happening after youve drawn your mark. I only have basic math high school education, but from videos, I've become quite adapt at making square to rounds and using those principles to make all sort of wierd transion pcs. I think this kinda stuff is the logical next step. Need to make one of this elbows by Monday for one of the roofers at my company, hope i learn fast 😂

Rectangular Transitions are very difficult to learn. Hang in there it takes time and practice to understand this process. Everyone gets it eventually on their own time. The Sheet Metal Workers Handbook is excellent and is available from the local union.

Since we know that the cone is on center from front to back. We can use that along with the offset and finished hight from the original sketch to develop the Plan View. Shure hope this is what you were asking about.

I like your presentation. But I am having trouble with developing my cone shape. Is there anything I can do to get more comments from you?

To develope the working drawing. Begin with a right angle, measure the hieght of the fitting an create a parrallel line at that elevation. Measure the offset at the 10" elevation and then mark the diameters. 😎

I use 12 as a denominator for the archetects scale which is devided into 12 and 24 increments. Too much time in the classroom LOL. I will try to use 16th's to be clear. Thanks for the observation.
