    You cant land like that because of airmode. That's why its bouncing. Fly as low as you can and cut off the motors. Thats how I land. And alot more...... Specially with more uptilt of camera

    I discovered, as I am barely 3 months into FPV - with, really NO successful flights as of yet - and coming from a DJI AIR 2S, that you and I are indeed two peas in the same pod, brother! My iFlight Nazgul Evoque F6D (Deadcat) prebuild is on its way to me as I type this, so ... I instantly subbed as I viewed your video. I'll come back and provide you full details about the NIGHTMARES I've endured, dating back 3 months to June 1, 2023, the day I started my first jump into FPV. I've lost a lot. And I've had a lot repaired. And as for FPV, I have a 'missing' AVATA (that I've pinpointed on a map, where it went down because of a critical battery) - so TODAY I'll go out for the THIRD time in the bushy area behind a friend's house a couple km's away, and if I fail to retrieve it, it'll get reported as a "flyaway" and I'll have to pay $239 USD for a replacement - vs $39 USD for a replacement, should I actuality RETRIEVE the lost Avata, and am able to send it back. It's rained hard since the loss almost a week ago. And my summer job calls me out of town at THE most inopportune times. Alas, this is only a small PART of my FPV story so far. I'll just type out a 'master story' that I can share with you, and others (I've told this in detail at least twice already, and I am getting sick of all the typing needed to do it, tbh) ... In the meantime: 1) If a drone manufacturer, like DJI, offers a replacement insurance, do not even think about it - GET IT. 2) NEVER, EVER launch an FPV drone that is not fully Betaflight-configured - WITHOUT goggles on!! 3) FULLY educate yourself in the field of LIPO batteries, the storage procedures, the charging methodology, and safety precautions. Want to know how dangerous a LiPo fire is, should a mistake you make, start one? Here's a hint: THEY CAN BURN UNDERWATER. I'm not lying. 4) If you say you are serious about FPV, and you've never soldered anything before - START. Watch videos. Get the gear you need. It's first on my list when the summer gigs I do come to an end, and I'm almost there. I already have all the good soldering tools I need right now to get a good start. (Especially 'practice PCB boards'). Best of luck ... let's keep checking on each other! [EDIT]: I see you mentioned the flight sim. Most important learning-to-fly FPV tool, to save money! Myself, I have a couple, but mainly I use the Liftoff bundle, available on Steam ...

    I have the Nazgul V2 O3 also and it's a beautiful thing but it's expensive too. I progressed quicker using an old Nazgul that I bought used cos I didn't care that much if I crashed it. It allowed me to fly with less pressure and more freedom like a more realistic Sim without the endless batt life.

    I assume you are flying in Angle mode and not Acro? I got a Mini 3 Pro recently and want to get into FPV. I've started practicing in sims in Rates / Acro mode to learn how to fly FPV in Acro. I've been debating goggles for weeks and finally just bit the bullet and got the Goggles 2 with Motion 2. I went this route so I could fly my Mini 3 Pro with Goggles, too, and I liked the built in diopter adjustment in the Goggles 2, in case my wife or others want use them. I plan to use ELRS for the radios. I'm learning to fly in sims using a Radiomaster Zorro. I'll check for more of your videos to see how it's coming along.

    very brave of you using the DJI RC, you risk loosing the drone. The second you loose image, the remote will disconnect :( try getting a regular RC. Even if you loose image, you are still in control of the drone and can pan out, get up etc. and wait for reconnecting. with the DJI Remote, until it reconnects, your drone is on the ground/ worst in water

    Not bad at all bro, I have the same quad! It’s.a beast! Definitely raise your tilt just a little, it will eliminate that little bounce when throttling, the drone will go in the direction you want more easily, but beware, it will be faster, you can still go slow though, just takes a little adjustment.

    Hahaha, Its funny because this was my first experience exactly... And it was like the motors sound was you screaming in full panic mode :D I had a similar experience flying LOS to test everything and was kind of a first real flight with some turns, suddenly lost control as im not used to its speed, almost smashed into wall of the house, punched it up, damn, it was suddenly like 100m up in the air or so... now I had to bring it back, avoiding trees, countring the wind... you would think LOS is easy, but its totally different... you cannot let go of the controls like a DJI drone ofcourse. Well, got it to land slowly, back in between the trees, landed and yup, same reaction: IM DONE! Today started some rips, crashed in a field, damn thing had some rock in the sand, shatterd my UV filter of the o3, but thats why I bought it, no scratches on the camera (would recommend buying a few, you can find "cheaper" once on AliExpress from geprc or even BRDRC. Bend some props... was a good flight, powerlooping until I rammed it into the ground :D

    Hey mate! It's nice to see someone just getting started in this hobby. It's fun, isn't it!? I have two small recommendations for you (I'm not that much further into this than you)... #1) Ditch the gopro (and the fear of smashing it) until you feel you're actually at a proficiency level to fly with it and not be afraid you're going to smash it. #2) Set your FPV cam angle to around 30 degrees or so. It wasn't until I raised the cam angle that I found more control. I was flying at a VERY low angle when I first started so I could see quite a lot of the ground while at a level hover, this wasn't the right way to fly acro! Also practice in the sim and find YOUR rates. They'll be very different than what you think they should be when you finally hit the right ones. That's actually proving to be the hardest part for me personally is finding the right rates. I'm STILL trying to dial those in but I'm finally zeroing in on the "right" rates for me. You need to find that yourself and the sim is the best way without risking the real quad! Feel free to reach out if you'd like to talk. :) Happy zippin' mate!

    • @bluefpv3263
      @bluefpv3263 Год назад

      i kinda like 25° for camera angle you dont need to go to high i just fly the betaflight default rates at like 670°/s which is fine for me i dont think rates matter to much aslong as you dont go full stick anyway imo its better to stay with 1 setting and just fly it if you play around with rate and camera angles you need like 3 packs to get used to it everytime and its harder to gain muscle memory that way the biggest thing to getting better is just stick time fly as much as possible challenge you self from time to time and try find someone you can fly with than you can talk about the hobby its always easier for someone else to find mistakes in what you are doing its faster to learn that way than to do it all by yourself for example in this vid my "wing man" would have told me "you are turning left all the time do a right turn" ^^

      @@bluefpv3263 I apologize if I offended you, I wasn't trying to point out mistakes... I really didn't see MISTAKES, only hesitation and uncertainty (which I attributed to the $500 gopro, as I was the same until I ditched it for DVR for a while yet after absolutely smashing one to bits). I was only trying to offer an outside opinion based on my own experience over the past year and a half or so. As I said, I'm not that much further into this than you. And yes, having someone to fly with makes a difference.... Sadly, where I am... I seem to be the only quad pilot in the area. I'm a firm believer in experimentation to see if something else may work better or fit my needs better. I encourage everyone to experiment in the sim for that reason... especially on rates. Anyway, I meant no offense. I wish ya the best! Happy flying!

      @@NoOneFPV you mistake me for the creator of the vid i think im not offended dont worry i was just offering my opinion since im learning aswell you are absolutely right about the gopro i almost lost mine today cause my cheap as camera mount broke i got insurance for the cam so if i brakes its not a big deal and afaik its normal that a fpv gopro has a broken back screen ;P about the rates you are right you should find you prefered rates and its worth putting some time into finding the right rates for me the standard rates work pretty good lucky me ^^ but after you found them you shouldnt tinker with the rates to much cause as i said muscle memory is very important at some point you should be able to do a half roll/pitch or a full roll/pitch blind cause its the base for most of the tricks and moves you can do with a drone and its worth to put some time into perfecting that which is hard if you change around the rates constantly ps.: i checked some of you videos if you got some dji vtx i guess you can use that for recording too ^^ i fly analog so dvr isnt really a option for me i have to smash some gopros if i want to make vids

      @@bluefpv3263 Whoops! You're right! :) Dyslexia sometimes surprises me... hahaha But having said that... I do agree, once you settle on rates, you should absolutely stick with them. However, having said that... You do kindof have to go through the process of actually dialing them in for your flying style to begin with. If you're flying with rates that just don't FEEL good or RIGHT for you... then none of it will feel good and you'll just end up fighting the quad instead of being in harmony with it. The closer I get to the "right" rates (and I'm VERY close) the more in-sync I feel with the craft and the more it's inclined to do what I ask of it. :) At this point, I'm making very small changes and testing. I'm actually about to go out and fly 4 packs with a slight adjustment. :) I think this adjustment might be my final one. As for my gopro.... I did a little more than smash the back screen.... I somehow ended up ripping off the lens attachment mount and it just didn't function at all after that... (insurance!) lol...

    You kept cool after a brief moment of panic and brought it down safely -- that's the opposite of epic fail in my books! Seriously, good job! I lost my first quad in a similar situation, trying to find a re-entry point on a foresty possession. Got behind too many trees, lost my video feed, and then my drone just flew off to quadhalla. One thing I learned from that is to take advantage of acro mode and think three dimensionally. If you don't know what's below you, go higher (for some safety) and look down. New pilots often try to keep level in moments of panic, or outright switch to angle mode, and that actually hinders them more than it helps.

    a tip for flying ultra slow, tree branches etc, i think of it as a different mode, diff reflexes etc. the trick is to use the pitch to go up and the throttle to go down, the fine throttle controll takes a while, the nazgul is a little heavy, i'd recommend using a usb to balance port to power the gopro, and i was told to look for props that make the throttle feel as precise as any other stick, but its not obvious whether you need higher pitch props or lower, higher pitch take longer to spin up, lower pitch spin up a little faster. maybe try ethix candy cane props first, higher pitch and very grippy in a turn.

    That was so hilarious 😂 3 pieces of advices from also a beginner. 1. Spend more time on simulator, it really helps. 2. Probably too late, but you should start with a whoop. Much cheaper and way more crash resistant. 3. As soon as possible switch to acro mode. Shifting is not that easy, because you get some habits. And trust me it is waaaay more enjoyable to fly, especially on big drone like yours. Angle is good to start, but don't stay too long on it. Again, when learning acro mode do it in simulator first.
