Too swank! Only two in first class. Got my eye on La Premiere! If I pay full fare it will be a long flight. So I am studying the routes. Which is not easy with online info.

Standard Business Class, nothing special. However KLM offer some great deals on fares so if you take advantage of these there’s really nothing to complain about. For me extra space and a flat bed are the best things about flying Business on long haul. Great value for money if you get one of their deals.

Disastrous food & beverage service: the wine cast bubbles in the glass when poured; never display red and white wine at once - one of the gasses should've been taken away before serving the main course - presumably the white wine glass; when laying the main dish, the meat has to be presented at ''6'oclock'', not at ''11 o'clock''. NEVER ever push the food crams aside with you bear hand towards...the floor - use a side-plate and a napkin, if you do not dispose of the adequate tool for it; use a tiny silver spoon for pouring the sauce from the sauce cup to avoid sauce leaks, which eventually stain the nap; glasses always on the right side, with the glass of water at reach, first; cover any stains or unsighty marks left on the nap immediately with a napkin. The cabin feels very neat though.

The fact that the seats are outdated is because KLM no longer invests in the B777-300/200s. The modern business class seats are in the KLM 787-9/10s.

At that level of confort and attention you can consider the business seats as economy ones , all proportion kept it is the same because you are REALLY on a special treat .

My father working in overseas for more than 20 years, during the 50s, 60s, and 70s, we used to fly AF when going back home to Paris for vacation; a long haul flight first with DC3 and Super Constellation that took 2 days until to the end of the 50s, later near 12 hours with jets. The food was not only excellent but served in Limoges porcelain with silverware, drinks in crystal glasses. Something we never had on other airliners. My worst experience was Swiss Airlines in business class, Zurich-NY City, the food was atrocious and the flight attendants so so la la....

16:37 I LOVE that it's not leather. Leather may look luxurious but it's so uncomfortable to sit on for an extended period of this. I'll choose a high quality fabric seat over leather any time.

At 5.07 ‘Air France has a strict lounge policy, only elite members can book a first class ticket’ This doesn’t seem right. Surely anyone can book a first class ticket if they have the cash. What am I missing?
