I'm going for a 2020with the 1.8 liter,easier to work on.I'm after reliability and economy rather than performance.Ive been driving my 2003 Corolla for nine years with a stock 1.8 L and it has enough power to satisfy me.

Tip to make this 2x easier: Use the blunt end of a standard Bic pen to push off the airbag springs. Using a flat tip screwdriver is like trying to push your wet noodle in a disgusting lasagna, it just ain't right but you can do it if you try hard enough. In reality, what you're trying to do is push the end of an unfolded paper clip with something almost the same width with enough force to overcome the riser block/shoulder that holds it in. Much easier to use a slightly soft blunt object that can't miss and sorta holds on to the spring tip while i pushes it.

all it is, is a taller piece of plastic, i dont see how it adds much more power. rather get a real air intake with a pre filter.
