Yep. I start season shocked and clean then put Poolrx. 65$ for each is expensive vs 20$ of shock. I shock then flocc, once cleared I put pool Rx in. 6 years running now.
You missed the whole point of the toy haha. They are flip gravity knives. You're supposed to flip it open and flip it closed.
