I remember seeing this bus on Avenue k the Bm1 bus and Bm2 And BM3 And BM4 when it was call Command bus line in Brooklyn Now MTA bus took over the Private line in New York city and all of those classic MCI bus are all gone now 💯💯💯
How come New York's Suburban MCI Classics had soft chairs and baggage holding bars on the inside but Transit MCI Classics had hard seats multicolored like any other fleet.
I definitely like this rendition of 7905...especially the way the driver drove in this video. Not too much of the flashy "workout" stuff..just a simple cruise around town. And I will pass out now...
Sadly that is what happened. And 7878, along with the CNG RTSs like the one there and the JBi Classics have all been shredded at NIMCO into scrap metal. May they RIP. Fortunately, we still got some Classics left: 1989 ex-Liberty/New York Bus units. 8 LLEs, 8 NYBSs (plus one more, 7414 but that's a training bus), all (except 7414) sitting in reserve status at Eastchester.
Up until a few months ago, I used to see these parked on 23rd street early in the morning all over the place. The seem to have been replaced by the new MCIs on that line.
Surprised they scrapped the idea of mid sized express buses like this. Now they are huge!

I like how Jamaica Buses Classics were tinted on the windows and I loved Green Lines Classics. I used to ride Green Lines classics alot.
Yonkers RR sta. That is my 7868. 7868 was an 80 MPH bus I had the pleasure to operate until she was sadly withdrawn from service.

Where was the video taken? Looks like there's a highway in the background.
