Glad you found this video useful! We bought the easy plus package that included Wi-Fi. We didn’t opt for streaming. You can send text emails pictures but not videos or streaming. The packages might differ now, but it was included as an option when we booked the room for an additional $300. Not sure if it’s still available, but that was the ongoing price for a long time.

Definitely the opposite! Failed description there. Replace that with famous/well known.

Yes it fits.👍 The oversized jacket and shirt hid it well. As a back up I needed to make sure it can fit in one of the bags.

@@Lost_with_Lynn thank you for so much!! It’s two long haul flights each way. I heard some people put their feet on the armrest. That would bother me a lot and I actually would spray their feet if it’s stunk next to me.

You can manage your booking online or call a representative from website's customer service number. Also check your dinner time right before your cruise as I've heard it may change. If any there are any problems, Guest Services onboard can help you but it may be easier to fix any problems ahead of time. You're welcome and enjoy your cruise!!

I figured if you can choose what you'll eat for dinner, then you can also choose how many dinners you'll have too. It's a cruise...why not! 20 yrs is a very long time. Maybe you'll sign up for a future cruise after this one. Enjoy!!

He’s more like under the radar in public but he loved the cove and especially the pizza onboard. We balance each since I’m the extrovert (most times) and he’s the introvert.😅

Great tips! I’m planning to bring several herbal and non herbal teas. Possibly iced tea mix. I bought the Earplanes ear plugs for noise and pressure reducing. My personal bag acts as a footrest since I’m short.

@ I’m sure the plugs are good for reducing pressure. However the noise canceling is game changing for noise. You don’t realize exactly how much until you use it and then can’t go back. Amazon has some very reasonable active noise canceling headset. No need to spend $300+. There are decent units for even around $50

@@YourNewHappyPlace yes we bought the easy plus package which was ver inexpensive at additional $300 to the cabin. Though that package is no longer offered starting last December unless it was already added to your cruise purchase before December 18, 2024.

Oh no not a relaxing beginning. Can't say no one goes through computer problems. Fixing the problems until 4pm is a bit much when things are supposed to be in place. I've read that reservation times can change without notice before embarkation. Though it's the whole reason why people reserve in the first place. Glad you had all that settled out before you at least had dinner. My first day wasn't so good though I had an amazing check in. Glad you enjoyed everything else including the pizza!

Glad you had more positives during your cruise. I wonder if the food varies depending on the season. My family tend to cruise in the summer so everything is at its peak. Did see the same foods shown from my videos during my sailing besides the hot dogs, burgers and pizza?

Glad you enjoyed the video! I recall having iced tea. There was a couple more flavors but I don't exactly recall. It's usually pre served in cups since it was so busy when we traveled in August. Most of the time I drank water and coffee. When we packed I had a day outfit and a night outfit. You can bring several outfits for the themed nights like Italian, white night, 70's/80/s/90's nights, glow party, Caribbean and dress up/formal night. Doesn't have to be fancy. A few Hawaiian button down shirts for the guys and simple dresses for the ladies. No flip flops or cameo in the main dinning room. I have videos and you can see what people are wearing when I vlog to get an idea but it's casual enough. Whatever you choose to wear, you'll surely enjoy your cruise!

@@YourNewHappyPlace oh definitely! That’s why we went with MSC. At the time of booking, we were considering liberty of the seas versus MSC Meraviglia. The prices were the same for what we were booking at the time. It also depends what is most important to you. For example we compared Liberty 9 days (8 nights) inside guaranteed cabin versus Meraviglia balcony 8 days (7 nights). Liberty had a great itinerary to two ports at Dominican Republic and a day in Turks and Caicos (now it’s back to Labadee). Very nice itinerary but I didn’t care for three randomly placed inside rooms. Instead chose Meraviglia with 3 balcony rooms and overnight stays on Bermuda. It also depends on the ship. We sailed on independence last year and Liberty is exactly the same. If I could have purchased an ocean view room I would have considered Liberty. Though I enjoyed the large pool deck on MSC compared to Independence which I felt was closed in. Just my opinion though.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and it sounds like you had a great one! Great way to keep your holidays in check by not decorating too early. Love the fact that you celebrate your holidays in real time and not like weeks ahead of the actual holiday. Anticipating for a holiday makes it more special and meaningful. Winter solstice can start with a bang in my area. It was so cold and windy yesterday, down in the teens. Today it's going to be single digits! Continue to enjoy the holidays and stay warm. 🥰🕯

This is newest mall in New Jersey and the second largest mall in America called American Dream Mall. This is one of the hots spots with a large open center and it's decorated just for the holidays.

You'll have one of the best times onboard!! Tip here: Make sure to know your arrival time vs departure time. On another occasion where I drove to the Brooklyn cruise terminal I saw a couple of solo cruisers arrive late. They misunderstood the arrival time. The ship departs at 8pm (Bermuda had a late departure at that day). For some reason whatever they both printed separately said their arrival time was at 7pm. Entry to the ship is NO LATER THAN 2 HOURS prior to departure. Just wanted to share this too. Besides that you'll have a wonderful solo birthday trip!!

@JustTheilogsAdventures this is going to be my first time, so iam doing royal, princess and norwegian. I was going to do msc but there are are a lot of not so good reviews. Also iam trying to get away from the crowd so iam doing November 2025, may and sept 2026.

@@MrCristian12332 sounds like you have a lot planned. I wouldn’t give up on MSC as more recent reviews are positive. Maybe the Yacht club if it’s in your budget? Either way enjoy the cruises you take!

It’s tasting food through experience, not necessarily expertise. Sometimes a little salt, perhaps garlic, lemon or a seasoning is out of place. The Indian food I tasted need a touch of ginger. The spring rolls needed more garlic. I rarely say food is horrible because it's food. Take pride that we have it. This video is about a vacation and an experience. While others say, "I don't like this food"....I say it's not bad and maybe all it needs is a little seasoning or adjustment to how it was cooked. Just like you cook at home. You taste your food and adjust it to how you think it would taste better. No expertise here, just experience.

I’ve seen that same video! It’s amazing how much food, team work and organization is done to get this ship going. I’ve started to make a couple of cruise food recipes look a like and posted it on Instagram. Made eggs Benedict with homemade hollindaise sauce and bucatini carbonara already. Pappardelle and strip steak next. Don’t have a Sam’s club membership but I can pick up some risotto in my local grocery. Thanks for rating my MSC experience!!

Parking was $45 per night of your cruise. Not free to cruise passengers. Some Uber or take a taxi into the terminal.

Only just recently.😁 Though in a couple of weeks you’ll see activity I did that I never did before.🌊
