They are not really known for tragic songs old Goldie looking chain (although there is a certain amount of patho's sometimes) but I reckon this is a pretty tragic song really...bloody funny lyrics of course, but ultimately it is about a bloke going insane and thinking he's a robot...probably wouldn't be as funny if it didn't have that underlying theme and just goes to show how under rated Goldie looking chain are...just because they don't take themselves seriously doesn't mean there aren't layers to the songs.

Well pretty much every Welsh person I've ever met is a patriot of Wales, whereas barely anybody in England is.

There is a self depreciating quality to some Welsh humour that shines forth in GLC, it's not so much that we Taffies think, say, imply or believe that we are better than you, it's just that we're lots better at being crap than you are.
