I dont think thats much of a move for anybody. If your trying to score 30 points and nobody has stopped you yet that might spring you open another time. But what the hell is the use of teaching that? One kid on a team might find that usable. Also thats an abbreviated version of the crossover that goes through the leg, leg tap the leg the ball went through, huvering with the ball tap the opposite leg, still huvering the ball shift the weight back to the first leg and bend that leg- that leg is now planted, now you swing the crossover through using the planted leg to explode with. Those really are the fundamental steps of the Iverson crossover. And its great because you can fool a more explosive defender with it easily, if you get space. Its easy to carry the ball, you have to practice how you want to huver the ball, you can let it spin in your hand, or grip and shake it. Gym balls are sticky compared to street balls. I wouldnt teach the Iverson crossover to improve my teams win loss record, but this move doesnt really help many players. Idunno everyone had the Iverson cross now nobody does.
