24 years ago I worked in Karratha area on roadworks, you find gold in burrow pits,and walk windrows after grader did maintenance on gravel roads,Cleaverville road produces 12 nuggets over few weeks,the other area was roebourne wittenoom Rd up near python pools burrow pits,good gold in top soil pushed off to expose good road materials.
It is amazing how much gold there is around up there. Have heard stories about gold found during roadworks. some real big gold. Cheers for watching and for the comment

Great adventure with mates and gold. You have been away a long time now , guess none of you are married.It stresses the relationship being away for months on end, just like fly in fly out. Take care watch out for the death adders. Cheers Greg

That trench is called a costine . It's usually dug in the opposite direction the gold runs to find the vein

A mixture. Own lease, pending ground and we do a few 40E permits.
