Wow they are still talking about Covid vaccinations and stuff on flights? I’ve flown a few times this year and never once was Covid brought up, not even sure why they’d bring that up.

People love to hate the CRJ200 but I think they’re nice little jets. I worked as a mechanic for Atlantic Coast Airlines in Dulles Virginia back in the early 2000s before they went bankrupt. These planes are bulletproof and have tons of redundant systems for their size. I miss them.

That’s funny, May 5th I was there in ATL. I’d fly down to ATL and would stay (almost every week) at the Renaissance Hotel just to fly on as many -88’s as I could. But May 5th, the day this video was made, I took a KPIT turn on the -80. I don’t know what time this flight was, but if it was later in the day - I might’ve filmed you landing.

I miss seeing all the many DC-9’s at DTW. I’m glad Delta Operated these -50’s after the NW Merger for a little while! Thanks for sharing! Bringing back all of the memories.
