The 8:12 panel is actually shown prior to the killing scene... In the killing scene we see Musashi drop the sword, go pick it up and turn around to keep fighting and then realise he cut Seijuro down... I don't really understand... How could he cut so deep while he was losing grip? What am I missing? Edit: I found out! I was missing the next chapter LOL

@@ddqwf well Musashi says himself that he really doesn't know how he did it... My guess was that he was so deeply in a state of complete concentration that cutting through the body of Seijuro felt weightless and his sword just went straight through and flew away

My favorite part is when after this. Guts is near dead and Zodd still wants to fight, but Guts still stands up and even Zodd is like “oh shit 😳”.
His reaction was more "holy fuck you're barely alive and still on fire. Lame. Bye." And then Guts asks if Griffith is nearby and Zodd turns around and asks "oh you want to fuck around a little a find out?"

I rate kojiro (manga version) higher simply because of the hardships he faced due to a big physical disability and not being able to communicate. To the point, that he only communicates through fighting using his sword as a medium. In real life, well Musashi tops almost every other swordsman.
Rn kojiro is better by the end of the series Musashi will surpass him
