Vote NO on Measure “X”! Poorly drafted be city; asks changes for six different and totally unrelated topics in the Charter and asks for single vote on all six items. There was NO public discussion on the values or merits of these changes. Voted 3-2 to place on the ballot. You (voter) won’t understand the purpose or value and they want your single vote on all six changes! While you may like changing language on lobbyists; your being asked to EXTEND city council to expand term limits for 12 more four year terms for elected officials- meaning at least one council member will be able to serve 24 straight years!! Vote NO on Measure “X”. Change we don’t need and to get voter approval expands the election costs to the city of this election an additional two-thirds. As a local voter you were not informed this was coming to the November ballot! In your voter guide the two comments of support is a former city commissioner from nearly a decade ago; and the president of the Los Alamitos Police Association, which just negotiated an 18 percent pay agreement! Hmmm. Don’t night the hand that feeds you! VOTE “NO” on Measure “X”. Former three term Council Member, Dean Grose.

Amazing family and business I’ve watched grow and succeed. What started as a local print shop has become a partner with the community to include modern digital services including signs, banners and marketing materials.
