I hope your interview went well! 🙏🏼 What beautiful houses on the water! 😍 & I’m also curious to know what was that food you tried! Was it cheese? 🤔
Oh yes!…the interview went well, thank you so much. The houses on the water were really 😍, and I’m curious to know what they look like on the inside. I really do not know what the food was, I think it’s cheese but I’m not sure 😅 Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Very nice video. You've not done an apartment tour for us yet 😔
Thank you so much for watching😊 …And I’m sorry there will be no apartment tour for now… hopefully you will get one from me in the future.
I never saw popcorn made like that. I'd be afraid of the oil in the microwave. You know you can buy it in little bags?
I was too lazy to make it on the stove🙈 And I know they sell it in little bags but this one is just cheaper.
Nice dance moves! 💃🏻 Watching you genuinely enjoy yourself at this African event put a smile on my face! 🥰🤗 Congrats on 500 subscribers! 🎉🍾 I can barely get to 30! 😪 It’s so hard! But I will continue because I genuinely enjoy it & I have people like you who inspire me! ❤❤❤ P.S - I’ve been dying to try AFRICAN FOOD! It looks so good! 😋
Thank you so much, and I'm happy I'm able to put a smile on your face with my dance moves. This RUclips journey is really not for the faint hearted, but we just have to keep pushing just for the love of it. When ever you find yourself in my city, you should let me know so that i can treat you to a very delicious African meal.
I'm glad you enjoyed your first Thanksgiving. Is there a harvest festival or anything like that where you are from? We have Thanksgiving next month in the States.
Thank you so much for your comment. We do not celebrate thanksgiving in Nigeria like Canada and USA, but we celebrate Ester and Christmas very big back home. It was such an honor to be able to experience thanksgiving and also celebrate it with loved ones.
You will find a job soon in Jesus name 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Congratulations on your new phone. I’ll be upgrading soon too ❤

I’ve always wanted this kind of vacuum! How do you like it so far?!
I would absolutely recommend it, it’s been supper helpful since I got it. Thanks for watching ❤️
I got a robot vacuum for my birthday earlier this month. How long did it take yours to learn its way around the apartment? I have a ranch house (everything on one floor) and it just seems to be roaming around. The area is pretty big and it hasn't learned the layout yet. Maybe it's best just to keep it in the living/dining rooms and forget the bedrooms? I bought some outdoor furniture for the new place and paid a guy to put it together. However, I've still had to assemble some smaller pieces I got for inside the house. It's always a trial. I always get 1 thing wrong, that causes me to take the thing half way apart again to fix. ☹ How are things for you in Canada so far? Do you work?
It’s been a little bit over a month since we got the robot vacuum and it’s been working fine, but I just have to move things around/ take things out of the way so it could move around freely, I think you should give it time. My husband has always been an handyman, so assembling and putting things together for us is really not a big deal. …And about work I’m still hopeful, I’ll share an update about it soon. Thank you so much for watching❤️
I have been waiting since forever.. Welcome back ❤❤
Sorry for keeping you waiting☹️, and thanks for watching ❤️
Nice video ma’am. Can you please do a review of the Ninja Blender. Does it grind beans well like the local grinder in Nigeria does?

I see you got Easy Off; by the way, Dollar Tree has an oven cleaner. Actually, almost all their cleaning products are great, worth it and much cheaper than any store. I love their version of the Pink stuff, the orange cleaner and all purpose cleaner are great, and so are the bathroom stuff. Lots of options for floor cleaners as well as broom, mops, etc. So next time you visit, stock up. And I see you got an air fryer…they also have liners for them. They work great.
Yes I know dollar tree has very good and affordable cleaning supplies, but the day I went there they were out of stock, so I had to settle for this one from Canadian tire even though it’s was expensive, I just looked up “The pink stuff”, i remember seeing the day I went to DT, I never knew what it was…🫣, I would really love to try it next time. I‘ll definitely stock up on my next visit.
Hey sis, I love all this tips you are giving me, please don’t stop giving them, as a new immigrant here I need every tips I can get to save some money. You’re the real OG 🫶🏽❤️
@@AgnesDahunsi Glad I can help and that it’s appreciated. I didn’t want to be too much…but I figure having moved here not long ago, especially when you have to set up everything anew, that they might be useful. 😉
Work BC is a very good resource. Good luck girl.
Yes they are, thank you so much.
They’re the first point of contact which makes things easier to receive services. I see they referred you to Mosaic. Mosaic has been providing employments services, especially targeting immigrants, for a very long time. I’ve worked with them in the early 2010s when I was working for the government, before WorkBC centres. Needless to say, they should be a good resource to adapt your résumé (as we call them here and not CV, at least in English anyway) to the Canadian market, etc. Back in the day, there were a lot of in person workshops that you could take or had to take. Nowadays, I think most of them might be online. Anyhow, something to discuss with your case manager.
I see you visited Dollar Tree 🇨🇦 for your shampoos. I buy lots of hair stuff at DT.
Yes!, Dollar tree has lots of hair stuffs and they are affordable too.
@@AgnesDahunsi They used to have more…especially hair masks and such. I’ve been finding silk-like bonnets lately. So I’ve bought a bunch of them. I get the silk-like pillowcases there too, and use the silk-like scrunchies; and of course the microfibre hair towels. Most of my brushes and combs are from either Dollar Tree or Dollarama (esp. the Wet brushes which are $15-$20 at other stores, but they’re harder to find now). I even found those sponge brushes. I happen to have afro 4c hair, even though I can’t do it without relaxers. I have lots of hair, so whatever product I use to wash, condition, style, I need a lot of it. As I’ve reached a certain age, I’ve tried lots of products, including expensive salon stuff, and mid-range stuff as well as drug store brands and some you get at the beauty supply stores. I no longer bother with very pricey ones. For shampoos, I just make sure they’re sulfate free, which they have at Dollar Tree.
Yea, I realize Dollar Tree has wide range of hair products, and thanks for giving me hints about them having silk-like pillowcases I was planning to order for them from Amazon, I think I have to take my time on my next to visit DT so I don’t miss out on a lot things. I also have 4c hair although mine is natural which means I’ll be needing lots of hair products so I can maintain it. I kind of think dollar tree is more affordable compared to Dollarama over here so I’ll stick to buying from DT for now.
@@AgnesDahunsi oh Dollarama prices keep going up! They still have items at a good price, but you have to be comparing. Even with my relaxed hair, I have loads of product! Cause the detangling process is still a drag. There are a few specialized stores around catering to textured hair, but not many. But most Walmarts carry a decent section of products for textured hair, and so does Sally’s (but Sally’s it depends on the location). The most commonly used that you find at both are usually cheaper at Walmart (for the same stuff), and Walmart is cheaper than Amazon as well, again for the same stuff. Story time: I was “natural” my whole childhood…so no more! I grew up with white parents in a completely white environment; so nobody knew what to do with that hair of mine. My afro days are over! I do relax my hair…but I do it myself. And due to a work injury to my right shoulder as a right-handed gal in Dec 2022 followed by surgery last December, I can’t do it. I still can’t even wash my hair without help. My son helped me a few times. The wash and detangling process was a 3-4+ hours for him (he’s trained as a barber), plus drying time…and like no styling! But he hasn’t been able to assist me this year…so nightmare! I finally attempted a “relaxer” (really it was a texturizer cause I struggled just to put it on; and my daughter agreed to help me rince it off…no smoothing, and I didn’t have it long enough…anyhow, after 9 months, I was overdue. My hair is down to my bra strap, 4C doesn’t even really reflect how coilly it is: really most of the coils are just circles …it’s super tight, tighter than a spring. And my hair is very fine, and I have lots of it…crazy density. So the strands just wrap around themselves and lock or I end up with crazy knots. So with a relaxer, it stretches the coils a bit, so the hair doesn’t lock. And trying to get to my scalp? Good luck with that! Anyhow, that’s why I do relaxers. As I’ve reached a certain age now, and with YT, etc. I have learned lots about my hair and how to deal with it. And I don’t have the energy to be natural, and wearing wigs is not something I’ve ever done. That being said, I work in film and TV, and a lot of Black girls wear wigs on set, because they don’t want the stylists to touch their hair. But so far, I have yet to find a wig (and I’ve tried a bit, but I haven’t spend real money as of yet) that looks decent on me. Granted, the most expensive I’ve tried was like $100, and of course, no human hair. But my hair line is very low, so if there’s no bangs I look ridiculous. Black hair wigs just don’t fit my skin tone…anyhow, I look like a clown! And I don’t do protective styles. That being said, I had braids once, like 28 years ago. In a 4-week period, my hair was dyed twice and relaxed. Needless to say, the ends were fried, and I actually ended up with an almost bald spot. So I got it cut in a bob. A few months later, the first week back to uni, I met this girl from Africa (can’t remember which country though) who had just moved to Canada. She happened to do braids, so I got some done. She’s the first person who introduced me to Black hair care. I was clueless! Anyhow, she braided my hair…and once she was done (and not microbraids either, they were the size of a large straw) she told me she had never seen anyone with so much hair, and she had never done that many braids on one person, ever! And never mind the fact that I had lost lots of my hair! And well, I never got braids again. Cause you see, I was only able to keep them for 3 weeks (and yes, I washed my hair with them and it would take hours!) I had to take them down cause my hair had grown over an inch in that time frame (they were very tight when she did them), and with the weight of the braiding hair, my coils were stretched a bit, so the braids were just hanging away from my scalp, and the strands in each braid weren’t the same length, so some braids were pulling in weird directions. Anyhow, even though the look sooted me, going through hour and hours to get braids only for like 3 weeks, and add to that the price of hair and labour…not worth it! Same when I had a partial sewn in weave (like 3 rows). After like 5 weeks, the cornrows were hanging away from my scalp like crazy…and it got messy. Anyhow, if you read all of this, cheers! But that’s why I use relaxers, and I usually self relax. Cause one salon I went to a few times in Surrey, I was 4.5 months post relaxer…she charged me double cause I had so much new growth and so much hair! Even for like a 3-month roots touch up, can’t use those relaxing kits (and it’s not just me…several stylists experienced it too) cause it’s not enough product. Anyhow, maybe when I have gray hair I might consider leaving the relaxers behind. Lots of people my age are fully gray (well most of them underneath some hair dye); but I only have some random gray and white hair here and there. However, maybe it’s the absence of pigment or something, the texture of said hair and curl pattern is a tad different and less tight. So it might be easier to manage then. 🤯
Returning subcriber! I see you like sneakers a lot and also, how do you preserve your veggies?
Yes I do love sneakers, and for the veggies, I really do not have any special technique for preserving them, I just use them almost immediately so they don’t get bad. Thanks for always coming back❤️
