The board does not have to comment. There is NO requirement to answer questions during public statements. If you come to the board with an attitude every time and not reach out to the state for problems with state level issues who have the answers and RESOURCES to do so. 😮 Also, working for the people means everyone in the town not just the naysayers. The clerk suggesting for the public questioner to reach out to the Secretary of State is appropriate as she is the, "chief election officer" by Michigan Law. The Bureau of Elections oversees the operation of Qualified Voter Files who has all the information the questioner would need, again by Michigan Law. FOIA is the appropriate route that she should take. The clerk is being very generous by allowing her to just email the request, showing professional courtesy. "Moderate strength is shown in violence, supreme strength is shown in levity", good job sir.

The trend for Adams Township is as follows for GENERAL ELECTION: 2016: Registered voters (1783), Ballots Cast (1194)-50.3% 2018: RV (2130), Ballots Cast (1073)-50.3% 2020: RV(2312), Ballots Cast (1362)-58.9% 2022: RV (2022), Ballots Cast (1092)-54.0 % 2023: RV (2013), Ballots Cast (622)-30.8% 2024: RV (1750), Ballots Cast (79)- 4.5% This is a downward voting trend! Not enough people are participating no matter how high the number of registered voters go! Those numbers do not indicate people moved in or out of the township, only that the number of registered voters increased and decreased, and those numbers fall below the township’s reported population. Someone’s seeing ghosts where there are none and looking crazy.

Was there election fraud? It appears Ben Cotton can get on the stand with immunity and prove there was. Why not let him speak to what he found? If not now then when? Will you call him as an expert if immunity is revoked to testify? Or will he take the fifth amendment? Why take this as a harm to your campaign for clerk? Actually, once the state stripped you of your authority for your law violation, you were no longer allowed access to any election information including the sealed ballots that were removed until the next clerk took over. You misrepresent the facts.
