I use the HP camera for initial and pitch, then switch to Wide for action. If you want to experiment, in the top right corner you can select "view" and fiddle around mid game with all the camera angles. There's a few interesting ones, but most of them are hard to follow the action with.

I'm an Angels fan so our seasons don't even qualify as disastrous, just depressing. The Mets always have so much promise at the start of the year.

Unfortunately the auto GM/Manager decisions can sometimes make a franchise incredibly frustrating to play through. I experienced something similar in playing FHM (OOTP's hockey cousin) as a GM only where my coach would never use guys I wanted was calling up or would use them in weird ways I hated that killed their development. I also don't think you can change that in the middle of a save.

Love to hear it. Always trying to make the videos interesting and highlight a different aspect of the game while trying to keep them entertaining. I think there's a real difference in playing vs. simming and I always prefer to play games as much as I can because I feel like I understand and build a relationship with my players more that way. Haha! It's hard to get excited about the theatrics of the sims cuz so often it'll look like a routine play and the guy will do something spectacular or completely miss it and you're not expecting it. I've gotta start giving my guys in the OF more love though.

Losing after the big come back was absolutely heartbreaking, especially in division. We gotta start finding the clutch bats, which is definitely not Jake Lamb.

Jones isn't on staff yet, and the definitely has no idea (or at least not yet) how much of a flamethrower he's got. I'm hoping he trends in the correct direction here - he's currently in AA and performing admirably - you'll see his stat line in Episode 11. I'm expecting him and Skenes are in the Show by the end of the season.

At the rate our pitching is going, it's looking like Skenes and possibly Jones are going to make the show around June. We need some type of injection to get things going.

Termarr's playing in A+ right now and doing worse than I've been hoping. The next episode is going to show a quick dive into our minors. I'm hoping his development puts him on pace to start at 2B opening day next season, but we'll see. Glad you're enjoying the season so far.

Thanks for watching so far. Not sure what you mean by the video being out of focus though? The only thing I can think of is it defaulted to SD for some reason? I'm going to double check some of my settings on the next recording though since OOTP defaults to a weird resolution and I have to enlarge it for the recordings. Let me know if any other vids are having the same issue.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately after implementing that, I realized the Pan of the Field is a trick to distract you from the huge block of text in the play-by-play at the start of each game. Oh well! I'd still rather have the static camera than that zoom in - so distracting.

Thanks for watching and glad to have the OOTP community enjoying my series. Been playing since OOTP 7 and really hit my stride in the teens. Happy to be back in it with 24/25 and hoping FHM takes the same steps forward that OOTP did in its teen years.

I haven't messed with FHM I started OOTP in like November of OOTP 24 and just can't get enough since then, there's been a lot to learn and I just took to RUclips. Always nice to see the different ways people play the game and learn from them and found out how much I enjoyed sims.

Thanks for watching! If you're looking for a true MLB simulation OOTP is definitely the way to go and 25 is running WAY smoother than any previous versions and the in game is fun to watch/sim. It's on sale all week on Steam for $35. If you're looking to do more gameplay stuff, I'd recommend Super Mega Baseball 4 over The Show. It's goofy, but the gameplay is solid and way more fun than I ever had with The Show.

@@wokhedinn I'm actually still playing The Show from 21 with custom rosters. I love the depth of the GM stuff OOTP brings. How often do you upload vids? Even though I'm a Cub fan I enjoyed the Pirates opening day!

Right now that's the plan. Hoping to launch a fresh series on release day this Friday sticking with the Bucs.
