What a trip man! yeah what got me into streaming flatland was because there's barely any flat riders in the state I'm in and thought i could maybe learn faster and get more tips when i stream learning flatland. Its also like having an unlimited external hard drive which is insane to think about! As for a all flat build I used to have 2 bikes one for flat which i was running a micromachine and then had my park/street build. The thing was I unfortunately cracked my micromachine frame right at the head tube because I was experimenting with flatland street park riding so because of that I started to just combine it all. I'm running a Cult tech 19.9 frame at the moment and 15 offset forks May try a all flat build maybe in the future but I think it would have to be some really wonky geometry or titanium carbon rims haha which I don't think is happening anytime soon but would be rad!

A Fly Micromachine! You were keeping it classic and classy with that one. Sorry to hear that it broke; that was a nice frame from the early 2000s. It definitely was not a park/street chassis. The reason why I asked about an all flatland build is after looking at your videos, I think you will become an excellent ground rider.

@@biketron What got me wanting to experiment with the Micromachine was because the flat riders in Long Beach introduced me to Day Smith and was a super heavy inspiration for me wanting to learn and get into flatland (The Day Smith Testimony vids was one of the first flatland videos I saw that got me wanting to learn) After looking up what frame Day was riding it was an EP that was 18.75 I tried to find one but there where none for sale someone told me the Micromachine was a 18.75 and thats the story on that frame haha Also saw Matt Willhiem ground rules flatland how toos!

my bad for the late reply! Thank you for taking the time to respond to this one because no one else did and your the one that named the trick I didnt know what it was haha! Man elephant whips huh? I wonder why they started calling them elephants?

@JamieRomoser Glad to be of help. The Elephant Glide was created by Kevin Jones back in 1987-1988 if my memory serves me correctly. I think he also created Elephants Whips as well because he was doing them around 1989-1990. Why he gave it that name is beyond me. It's was the 90s, and off-beat names for tricks were common. It's an old move; the tricks were called so many different names back then they've blurred over the years(at least for me, it has). I'm not always sure of the dates as I didn't start riding Flatland until 1997.

haha thanks dood! The streams are pretty cringe but also streaming makes getting flatland clips way easier cause you kinda have like an unlimited external harddrive my phone always runs out of memory

@@Chevydanton57 talking about the wanting to footjam? It’s a fun trick! Forgot to mention you can practice learning them on flat ground it’s also a way to go into fakies. There’s a ton of Footjam combos so this trick can lead into many others later on! Thanks for the comment

Keep on the bikes you can explore alot and theres endless BMX tricks and combo variations you can learn! The Bible studies are the gnarly part of the streams to be honest they can be hard to do at times

I practice and learn in the garage haha its been super fun to learn flatland its like playing a gnarly RPG game with talent points into what tricks you want to learn or what build of bike etc

@@JamieRomoser for me i sometimes do flatland on my street bike(it is brakeless)

thanks man this one was a struggle to edit for some reason had an audio snyc error happen and had to figure out how to get the audio to line up. If this ever happens to you or anyone that reads this you can screen record your video convert it to a audio file then place it back in the video! sounds strange cause im really into flatland at the moment but grew up in the pegless style! I used to race and a bunch of bmx friends of mine where into pegless aswell haha whats gnarly is ive been seeing some riders do a pegless flatland style

I didnt even think about that what the! gonna have to learn some new editing tactics

Thanks for taking the time to comment! yeah the footjam no handers are fun just make sure you pressure your knee up against the bar I do wear knee pads so not sure if that helps? Haven't done a bike check yet! may have to make a video so the black bike im riding in these videos is my current setup my white bike is my old setup

thanks man yeah this was a fun day! though ive been on kinda the fence on how to capture enough footage to make a video? because I can spend alot of time trying to land a long combo line or get multiple easier clips haha

according to record of the time capture logs there was once a video on a kid trying to pet a wild bear and they said "Let me pet that DAWG" bears are not dogs please becareful
