im still the quiet kid after being at my school for 2 years. i just force myself to make eye contact while talking but it seems impossible, so i never talk. and i feel like im being watched/judged when im not You agree?

just found your channel and im watching this at like. 2am in bed and its honestly so therapeutic! im currently walking the same tightrope of stepping outside my comfort zone, like forming new relationships on my own without leeching off of my friends and attending small house parties, so seeing someone document their journey has sort of validated my struggles and help me conceptualize that im not alone. it takes a lot of courage to say hi, but if you feel that you truly enjoy a someone's company, pushing past that awkward phase of aimless small talk will always be worth it. ive honestly been kind of slacking on the whole reaching out thing..but your videos serve as a good reminder that small progress is still progress. i hope you continue this series and that the cards play in your favor ^_^ good luck!!

Lovely outfits and choice of music

High school is my weak spot. And even when you find yourself with friends, loneliness and isolation can still remain with the company that apparently is supposed to solve it. I’m in high school junior year right now and even though I’m “up there” with the older kids, and in my band organization (which you may usually hear about band being one big happy family,) it is very divisive and hard to exist even with rumors that were spread about me in a petty retaliation from the kid who’s currently popular and peaking in high school. I am now the outcast everyone avoids and it’s insane how I used to be among them, speaking with them, walking with them, talking with them. It really shifted me into perspective on how big of jerks high schoolers can be and how tirelessly they are willing to exclude. Even after I’ve tried reconnecting with them and clearing my name form a false lie, the popular kid wins and it’s perfect for her but for me it still stuck. Band was my big big thing too so this happening to me in band is jeapordising whether or not I want to stay. But why would I let a bunch of teenagers dominate my interests and destroy them? There are good people out there who are maybe in the same place as you are are willing to get to now you well. Don’t give up and remember this story to keep you afloat. It’s “social outcasts” like us that end up among the most humble, smart, and honest people. I hope you are doing well and I really hope the rest of your school year goes by as nicely as possible. Don’t give up, I don’t know you, but I believe in you, and think you have a bright future ahead of you.
