California’s version is better since there’s no dead space, but is it still better than Splash Mountain? No. Splash will always be better! They could’ve had Tiana at DL and keep Splash at WDW.

When I first saw the POV of the Disneyland version, I did concede that its better than the WDW version. Now seeing it next to Splash Mountain….what a shame….There's just no comparison. Splash is suriorior attraction on every lever; lighting, energy, animatronics, music, story and even color scheme.

Splash mountain I miss you

Splash mountain blows tianas out of the water! Splash with more color, more story, more audio animatronics characters full of life. And a song that will stick with you like its a small world tune. Tianas is dark empty and boring. The only thing i can say is its just a fun log ride now! What shame.

Why didn't they even keep the jumping fountains? they just replaced them with a screen? LAAAAME!

Tiana’s Tedious Adventure

I haven’t riden Tiana’s yet but splash mountain is better. But it isn’t that bad 1989-2023

Splash mountain … if you said Tiana your a Disney adult and that’s not a compliment…

Of course I prefer Splash Mountain over Tiana's. However, this version is more visually appealing than in WDW, cause in their version, theres a lot of flaws. My biggest complaint about WDW's besides them changing the theme of Splash is that there is too much empty space that they didn't fill in with anything except for maybe bushes. This one did it better, but I definitely wish Splash Mountain could have stayed somewhere in America. At least we have Tokyo. (For now.)

Details in splash are better. More animatronics but also better lighting. Tiana’s is too dark and only lights the animatronics. Why didn’t they light the rock work or plants? Makes it look smaller and less detailed. Tiana’s looks like splash had a fire and they went to rebuild but insurance wouldn’t pay out. Also, the story is “we need a band for a party, now you’re a frog, now you’re not a frog, here’s the party”. Not just doing the story from the movie Princess and the Frog was a huge missed opportunity.

Newness appeal will probably wear off fast

They completely ruined one of the greatest attractions ever created for the Disney parks. I'm a big fan of The Princess and the Frog, but I despise what they have done to this attraction. Thanks for this side-by-side comparison, heartbreaking though it is.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is best in New Orleans Square environment

I think the new ride looks beautiful, especially in Disneyland compared to WDW. But i still wish it had Dr. Facilier and had some danger/suspense.

After seeing this side by side splash is definitely better. Tiana before the drop is better than splash but that is probably about it. Animatronics for Tiana is probably better too. But splash animatronics are very old and were still looking good..

The Disneyland version seems a little better than Walt Disney World. It’s the same but, the overall attraction is a little more condensed.

Don’t trust Disney with any future projects ok this was a mistake

Splash was created by Tony Baxter-a man who prioritized quality and fulfilling Walt’s vision. Tiana was created with politics being the first priority. For this reason, Splash will always be better. Not to mention: Splash just looks superior inside and out.

Splash is better, the laughing place shows how much fun it is with the water spurting, colors changing, and animatronics singing it was one of the best scenes in the ride.
