This is very true. Ashes def feels as if it will be a slow burner rather than a dead sprint to the end to grind end game stuff. Im excited to see how it progresses further and if they can keep up the same vibe.

It's still in development, so some things sure are looking rough. The systems are very promising though, so checking it out in a year from now could make you see it in a different light.

When it comes to RPGs you have to pick a lane. Trying to mash PvP and PvE together never works. Trying to please everyone will end up pleasing no one. I hope the developers pull their heads out of their behinds. I have a limited time to play. I don't want to spend that time getting dunked on by childless unemployed people.

I do agree there needs to be some changes made. But i will say that being a non pvp player the game does not feel like its for the 5% who are pvp. Hopefully as testing goes on the Dev are open to feedback and balancing some things and systems.

They did this to New World after the PVErs bitched and moaned about being killed. Look how New World turned out. A PVP Game IS for PVPers. Don't play a PVP game then moan about PVP.

While i do agree that there are players who do and will in fact do this. 1. A well made game with continued Dev and support would limit this and 2. We the players should be better humans and understand limitations and toxic acts. While none or all of these can or will not happen remains to be seen.

There is an action mode that feels a little better for action players but I'm a tabber at heart. Also i wouldn't say its outdated, just not what many of the current "popular" action games have.

To each their own is what i would say. Once full release comes around id be willing to bet most people will change their minds around Ashes. The games still needs alot of work and polish, and is taking a long time to get made. But im hopeful they will pull it off.

The best part of that being the case is. This is the worst the game will look ever. It only gets better from here.

All i can say is your comparing and unfinished A2 test with complete games. The current state of ashes testing is server perf, not looking good.

While you are not mistaken is seeing these things i will say that is how i have my UI set up and what works best for me for now. These are not the settings of the game and you have lots of ways to make the UI your own

Thanks! They might be, with the 2 new servers being added it may be a multi purpose testing now of both those systems.

because it does. some people can't see it because this one Biome looks stale and because of the Art style.

I have high expectations for this game when it comes out in 2030, for now it may look ugly, but think of a house, they build the whole structure, and now is off to the embelishment

It does need alot of polish and work i will give you that but what is in there now in some areas looks real good for having basic polish pass. Its nothing like a finished product but the direction and bare bones are there

You know what, after looking at his video i could see how that looks like that haha. they were both very similar. He had more info in his which i was lacking a bit.

I believe with them stating just Cleric and Tank that it would only be those 2 Archetypes that would be able to select Secondary ones. I'm assuming the plan here is to "test" the systems and make sure they work and keep some of the Secondary ones a secret come launch. Intrepid has always said they want to preserve some of the game for launch.

I respect your view on it for sure and there are many people who feel like that, but using TL as the example they Devd that game for 13yrs to release. The game was first announced as Lineage Eternal in November 2011 but suffered numerous delays in its release schedule. The first South Korea closed beta took place in 2016. NCSoft renamed the game Project TL in 2017 and Throne and Liberty in 2022. From the Wiki online. Ashes has been 7-8 years so far, so that gives them 5 more years to meet the standard of your x10 better. TL looks like it will hold a player base, for me the game feels much like a mobile game that's more of a downtime grinder then content rich. Yes I've had fun in the Beta, but I'm not sure its my cup of tea.

@@devilzfury_gaming I think need to take into consideration ,that games shouldnt take 8 years anymore .AI is literaly next door and we still making games 10 years ? Also , i took T&L as an example as basicly allready game wich we allready have.What is the reason of getting another one ? Whats gona be so diferent ? And they spend 8 years ? What hapened in my honest opinion ,is that they took so long, that other games catched they progress or ideas way faster than they anticipated and now they keep trying make something newer - better ,wich is really hard to do .​@devilzfury_gaming
